Suffering! If it is said what is it? Carelessness is decay! The so-called "thus" is because of the reason for generating behavior that is in accordance with you, you give me to the guardians of hell, making me a vessel of suffering and misery for a long time. Self-interest is selfishness. The mind is inferior, like a slave. To destroy is to oppose. Now, in order to tame the mind with the reasoning of the quiet place, therefore, "that" etc. is said. The so-called "I" is the five aggregates. Joy is complete attachment. Loving oneself is like oneself being a child, not wanting to go where one should go. Wanting to protect is to protect from the evil realms. What should be protected is to protect the abandonment of wrong livelihood etc., and it must be combined for the benefit of others, that is the meaning. If one thinks, if one tames, what fault is there? Therefore, "how how" etc. is said, which is to manufacture by cultivation. Small-mindedness is being very impatient. Falling is the decay of virtue. This is the body. Thus, although one falls due to greed for comfort, one is still completely attached to it. Desire is greed. Who can satisfy its desire? It means that no one can be satisfied, for example, a king more capable than me ruling Jambudvipa (South Jambudvipa, the Indian subcontinent ruled by Ashoka in the 3rd century BC), he rules the four continents from the best, becoming a powerful sovereign, even if he gets half the seat of Indra, he will still not be satisfied. Furthermore, not being able to satisfy desire is utter despair. Affliction is fatigue. The decay of thought is the shattering of hope. Despair is utter shattering. The so-called "all" is all that is possible or impossible. Not examining is decay and smallness. Boundless decay is vast, meaning that perfection is even more enhanced. Desire is autonomy, in order to bestow the desires of body and mind on others. Or, what increases due to desire for objects is the body. Although clearly wanting, do not distinguish occasions, because what is not clung to and not acknowledged, its thing is good. Because what he acknowledges is not good. The so-called "any" is anything possible. Pleasant is one's own body.

Because one might wonder, why not be attached? Therefore, it is said, "Ultimately," meaning that ultimately, at the time of death, one will abide in ashes. Or, at the time of utter exhaustion, one will become ashes. "Unmoving" means not moving. By others, that is, by the mind. To show the reason why one should not grasp a living body, it is said, "Why?" "Illusion" refers to the body. "Kyi hud" means generally uttering lamentations. "Not eliminating" means not preventing, meaning, is one to enter a non-object? "Kada jé" means to grasp completely. "Nurturing" means nourishing with abundant food and the like. "Without attachment" refers to the mind. "Without hatred" refers to vultures and the like. Whoever is reviled, that is, being angry without being slandered with evil words, is because of something other than the mind. "Not knowing" means not knowing that it is the body. "Fatigue" means making one tired. For whose sake should I be tired? Or, who would be my fatigue? Furthermore, regarding "Which is this body?" and so on, for the benefit of beings, that is, for the sake of benefiting beings. As a tool for doing things, for example, it appears like a container for water and the like for the sake of need. The body should also be understood in the same way. Because without being a deity, one cannot destroy afflictions, therefore, merely worldly behavior is sufficient. Now, following the wise, that is, for the sake of following accomplishment. Vigilance means that body and mind are not distracted. Sleep means being submerged by sleep. Drowsiness means the body is lazy, which is a synonym for laziness. Therefore, it means conclusion. Eliminating obscurations means the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge. I shall abide in equanimity, that is, to abide in equanimity constantly without interruption. In "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life," it is called "One-pointedness of Mind," which is the difficult explanation of the eighth chapter.
