In whatever place it may be, may those and other ornaments also adorn it. I will bathe the Tathagatas and their sons with countless numbers of vases made of the nature of jewels, filled with delightful water mixed with various fragrant incenses and also well-filled with flowers, and likewise with many melodious songs and music. Then, after that bathing, in order to cover the bodies of those who have been bathed with incomparable garments, clean and thoroughly imbued with fragrant incense, and to make them beautiful with incense, I will wipe their bodies. Then, I shall offer or have them offer sacred garments that are well-dyed and beautified with colors, and imbued with exceedingly fragrant scents. Because soaking and smearing clothes with scents and perfumes, like ornaments, is a cause of arrogance, it is forbidden. Does not the Lord of Dharma also abide in himself, guiding and teaching disciples? Although that is true, using incense and flowers, etc., given with faith, with the thought of benefiting the eyes, etc., is manifestly apparent, but not with the thought of adornment or attachment. For Buddha images, etc., even doing so is not a fault, so what is the point of this argument? Bodhisattvas with the marks of householders wear fine garments, thin and very fine like those possessed by gods in the higher realms, which are beautifully adorned with various colors, that which is thin and soft, various and beautiful! That is to say, with hundreds and thousands of such clothes and the best ornaments, such as bracelets, armlets, earrings, headdresses, etc., I will offer and adorn Mapama and others. Mapama means that since it cannot be defeated by all demons, it is Namapama, that is, the noble Maitreya. Since all is good, it is Samantabhadra, this is a Bodhisattva. Since he possesses a gentle and melodious voice and is like a child, he is Manjushri. He is the good lord of all the world, and has a similar form.

Therefore, he is called the Lord of the World because he cherishes and gazes upon sentient beings who are afflicted with suffering with compassionate eyes. That is, the noble Avalokiteśvara. The word "etc." includes Vajrapani and others. Thus, I will also adorn Maitreya, Samantabhadra, Manjushri, and the Lord of the World, etc. That is to say, they assume the appearance of householders according to the wishes of those to be tamed. Furthermore, the word "also" indicates that even those who manifest as such Buddhas according to the wishes of those to be tamed are also adorned. The four continents, and the sun and moon, etc., each having a thousand, are called a small chiliocosm. A thousand small chiliocosms are called a medium chiliocosm. A thousand medium chiliocosms are called a great chiliocosm, which is one Buddha-field. And the Buddha-fields have no boundaries in the ten directions. In this great chiliocosm, whatever has the state of fragrance rising and pervading all beings is called "the fragrance that pervades the mountains and the great chiliocosm." With these fragrances, I will anoint the bodies of all the Sugatas, that is, the bodies of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. With what kind of body shall I anoint? The body of the Sugata, whose golden color is beautiful, mixed with ཀྵ་ར་ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and the essence of earth, well burned and cooked within, refined and purified, shining like a polished mirror, extremely radiant, I will anoint myself, or have others anoint. Furthermore, for the supreme Lord of the Sugatas, the best of objects to be offered, with fragrant and beautiful flowers, that is, the fragrant Mandarava flowers in the heavenly realms, as well as lotuses, utpalas, etc., first of all, Sumanas, Champakas, Nagakesaras, etc., all these flowers, with these I will offer to the Lord of the Sugatas, and also offer with garlands. How to offer? With exquisite and pleasing things, that is, with various exquisitely made flowers that are pleasing and lovely in shape.

Also. Similarly, the fragrance of incense pervades all beings, becoming vast and extensive. Therefore, it is pleasing to the mind. Supreme incense, captivating, fragrant, pervading. It means that such clouds of incense, with offerings of incense, are offered to the Able One. Similarly, the types of food, such as rice, and various kinds of white sugar, etc., and pleasing beverages, and the divine food symbolized by the juice of Indian grapes, etc., are also offered and presented to those Able Ones. Similarly, the form of lamps, precious jewel lamps arranged neatly on golden lotuses, and wish-fulfilling jewels, etc., those that illuminate and make manifest, are also offered to them. Furthermore, the ground is well leveled and cleaned, anointed with fragrant scents, and there, scattering and arranging various pleasing flowers of different colors and shapes. Offering the special features of the celestial palace is that, in the many clouds of special features of the celestial palace offered previously, the praises composed and gladly accepted by the goddesses residing there, and songs that are very pleasing and melodious, and also, adorning it with hanging strings of pearls and jewels, or being adorned by it, strings of pearls hanging beautifully and shining. It means that all of these are shining and radiant. Also, precious umbrellas, victory banners, flags, pennants, etc., with light and the nature of luminosity, adorning the boundless sky of all ten directions and pervading with light. These are also extensively offered to those who have the nature of great compassion, who are accustomed to and manifest great compassion. The mind that benefits and brings happiness to all sentient beings is compassion. These are presented to the Able Ones who have the nature of compassion. Furthermore, the offering of the umbrella is that this umbrella made of precious materials, beautiful and pleasing, has become very beautiful.
