Even harming through lineage is associated with happiness and benefit. Since benefit and happiness arise only from the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, it is said to be the "source of happiness." The source of happiness is the field of happiness, so refuge is taken in the Bodhisattva who protects. The benefit of the mind of enlightenment is the greatness of its fruit or qualities. Chapter One from the Well-Spoken Words of Entering the Practice of a Bodhisattva. Therefore, since it possesses great benefits and is the source of happiness, that precious mind must be firmly grasped and accepted, hence the saying "that precious mind" and so on. In order to properly and well grasp that jewel-like mind, offerings should be made correctly. That is, with great force of faith, prostrations and taking refuge, etc. The Tathagata, that is, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and the pure and stainless excellent Dharma, if one analyzes the real and unreal, are free from the stains of defilement, and the sons of the Buddha, possessing infinite qualities, that is, like an ocean, should be well offered to, that is, making offerings, praises, prostrations, and taking refuge, etc. Having correctly trained the mind, confess all sins, and then aspire to enlightenment, and then enter. Thus, through the preliminaries, the main practice, the extensive conclusion, and complete purification, one will truly grasp that precious mind. Among these, offerings are the offering of flowers and the actions that cause them. It is also with the supreme and the unsurpassed. Among these, the first to be shown is the offering of flowers and fruits, etc., and "as many as there are" is a statement of distinction. The so-called kinds of medicine refer to those belonging to the category of medicine, that is, how many excellent medicinal flowers, etc., and similarly, how many excellent kinds of jewels there are in the world. Here, the world refers to gods, etc., how many are there in the world

The reason for saying "having" is because it applies to everything, so it is a repetitive word. It is both clean and pleasing, so it is clean and pleasing water. A mountain is a land holder. Secluded and delightful is secluded and delightful. Trees adorned with their own flowers and appearing to burn are enhanced by adornment. Similarly, whatever tree bears excellent and supreme fruit, so that its branches bend and hang heavily, that tree is called a tree with excellent fruit and bent branches. Fragrance is the equal mixture of four elements, and so on. Incense is black agarwood, and so on. That is, in empty places such as directions, it is well mixed and emitted by gods and so on. The wish-fulfilling tree is a tree that produces the fruits that are desired. Whatever is adorned with water-born flowers such as lotuses is adorned with lotuses. Similarly, whatever has a very sweet and pleasant sound of geese is called a goose with a very sweet and pleasant sound. Furthermore, how much can one say one by one? Considering that all things with special characteristics should be offered. These flowers and so on, which are the adornments of the Buddhas and so on, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who are worthy of offering, are "reaching the end of the infinite realm of space." This means that it pervades the entire space without being completely occupied, like the unpleasant sound of the north. All these wish-fulfilling trees and so on are taken and completely grasped by the mind, and then offered well to the capable one, the best of the noble beings, and his retinue, and I will praise these well. Then, as the supreme object of offering, you who possess great compassion, please consider being compassionate to me, please accept all the places where my flowers and so on are located. Why is that? Because it is said "lacking merit," because merit has not been accumulated. For that very reason, he is a great miser, extremely poor. Therefore, as wealth worthy of offering, I have nothing other than the flowers and so on mentioned above. Therefore, please consider the benefit of others.

O protectors, these flowers and so on, although they are placed in their respective places as they are, they remain in my mind. Please accept them with your power. Question: Although you have your own self and so on, why do you say that I have nothing? Therefore, it is said "Victorious One" and so on. The Victorious One is the Buddha who has conquered the four maras. To all the Buddhas, including the sons of the Buddhas, I will forever offer all the virtues and all things of the three times. Therefore, supreme Bodhisattvas, please completely accept me! Take me as your own! O supreme Bodhisattvas, I will become your servant with great reverence and do the work of a servant. The self and so on are used to give to all sentient beings, and the benefit of those who are to be tamed should be done by you. Why should we offer to us? Therefore, it is said, "I am by you" and so on. If I am completely taken and accepted by you, then there will be no fear or dread in samsara, and I will do things that benefit sentient beings, and I will be completely liberated from past sins, and I will not commit other sins in the future. If that is the case, then through the Dharma and fearlessness and the giving of wealth, one can truly benefit sentient beings, otherwise one cannot. Relying on great beings will lead to great deeds. Furthermore, what you want to do is to benefit sentient beings, so offering to you is equal to giving to all sentient beings, and I will also give to them according to your will, which is the explanation of giving. In order to show the things that become the cause of it, it is said, "The bathing room" and so on. The bathing room is very fragrant, and its floor is made of crystal-like material, which is transparent everywhere and shines with the ground. After being arranged and cleaned, it is decorated with pillars of various gems that emit light, which is pleasant and delightful. It is covered with a net made of pearls, which is dazzling.
