The meaning of "only suffering" is that he (the author) has harmed me in this way. The meaning of "thus determined" is for the sake of others as one's own, and also for the exchange of self and others. If one asks whether abandoning disputes and so on is not in any way for one's own sake, then the "teaching of the capable one" and so on are mentioned, whose merit lies in engaging in the merit of benefiting others, the merit of exchanging self and others. "Later" refers to the bodhisattva ground or the buddha ground. The meaning of "this unfailing truth" is the one who wishes to practice the exchange of self and others. If it had been practiced in the past, then the perfect bliss associated with the Buddha, such as this, would not be possible even temporarily. Attachment to benefiting others. However, if the Buddha's own bliss becomes perfect bliss, and is true for both self and others, alas! Why don't you do it, mind? Therefore, "therefore, in this way to others" and so on are said, and those verses are easy to understand. Looking at the excellent and the first edition, by proclaiming the fame of others, that is, by proclaiming the fame of others, make my fame defiled. Why? Because they possess the qualities of hearing and so on. To show that they are not equal, "this is the nature of fault" and so on are said, the qualities of ordinary people are mostly cut off, so they are sudden. A part of those sudden qualities, you do not praise me. Ordinary people are the nature of faults, so this is the nature of faults. To show what qualities exist in others, "whatever the qualities of this" and so on are said. Harming means causing suffering. That harm, that is, let suffering fall upon oneself. The meaning of sentient beings is the reason. How to approach? Like the demeanor of a new bride. Therefore, "like the demeanor of a new bride" and so on are said. Shame is gathering and shrinking back. How? This should not be done with a neck-sounding, transforming demeanor, but should not generate strength. It should be done like this: You

Therefore, it should be placed on the side of the antidote, making it one's own master. As it is said, how is it said? It says, "However, even if observed in that way." It says: 'Alas, if you, mind, do not do this, because you cling to all faults, you will ultimately be punished.' This is easy to understand. Being unable to do it is difficult to accomplish. Affliction is weariness. The fading of thought is the cessation of thought. Discouragement is the absence of desire, that is, all things that can and cannot be done. 'Not utilizing its perfection,' it says: perfection is even more excellent. 'Of the body' means together with consciousness, because it is not allowed to increase the desires of others. How could one be discouraged about good things of ability? It says "so-and-so" etc., that is a good thing. When is it? It says "so-and-so pleasing," taking pleasing as the object and not being afraid. Samadhi is clinging to meaninglessness, because it is the cause of meaninglessness, therefore it is good. Even if one does not cling to or be attached to other good things of ability, why not cling to the body of self-nature? It says "ultimately becoming ashes" etc., the body is burned, ultimately turned to ashes by wind etc. and destroyed, and no longer arises, that is what is said. Being driven by others is vulgar. Is it appropriate to cling to the living here? It says "immovable mutually" etc. Therefore, also to show that the arrogant clinging to "I" clinging to this is the cause of meaninglessness at all times. Why? It says "this wheel" etc. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is sentient beings, not eliminating pride. However, it should be eliminated by cutting off the continuation of one's own seed. How is clinging the cause of meaninglessness here? It says "with the advice of the body" etc. Even if there is no partiality, will one be angry if the wind etc. disturb? It says "following attachment and anger" etc. What should be done about those following attachment and anger? The wind of karma.

English

It should be understood that conflicts arise in this way. Thus, "I" means for the sake of this body of mine. If attachment and anger arise towards anyone, it is also done to this body. If someone scolds and gets angry, etc., saying this makes it easier to understand. Like this, the act of exchanging self and others, in a serious manner, As an example. Therefore, taking myself as an example. Etc., this is the conclusion. Because why is it like that? Therefore, the behavior of children is enough. I should follow in the footsteps of the wise, I should follow him, because I must follow his behavior. What has been done? Recalling what was said before, the words of caution, dispel sleep and drowsiness. Sleep is a state where the body and mind cannot be used, drowsiness is when the mind becomes dull, dispelling these is following the wise. If there is no teaching, and there is sleep and drowsiness, one cannot meditate. Therefore, the Blessed One said that Bodhi depends on the virtuous friend. Like this, taking the three types of meditative practice as an example. Therefore, in order to eliminate obstacles. Etc., this is the conclusion. In order to eliminate those obstacles, namely the afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations. Withdraw the mind from the wrong path, pull it with the rope of proper attention, tie it tightly with the rope of mindfulness, and constantly, without interruption, abide in the equality of self-nature with the correct object. In abiding, the wisdom of suchness will arise, and thereby one can abandon all kinds of obstacles. In the well-spoken words of Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life, the Perfection of Meditation is taught, this is the eighth chapter. Because the wisdom of suchness will arise from abiding, in order to teach wisdom after this, "gathering" etc. is said. For the benefit of the mind of enlightenment, and for offering to the Sugatas etc., all these accumulations of generosity etc. as causes are for explaining the meaning of the Prajnaparamita. Why?
