That and so on. This is called the conclusion. Faults are defects, that is, what is much but has little benefit, little experience. What has little benefit? It is the pleasure of desire that has little benefit. What is it? Even animals can do it, and people don't find it rare. Therefore, this difficult-to-obtain leisure and endowment is destroyed. By what is it destroyed? By those tormented by karma. Karma is karma and afflictions. Being tormented by it means that those with desires are close to being destroyed, meaning that they destroy themselves. Although it transforms in this way, if it is said that the practice of Bodhi also has great suffering, then desire will surely be destroyed and is the cause of falling into hell, etc. Because it is small, not great, therefore at all times, that is, for each being, those with desires are in samsara. Moreover, those with desires suffer more than the practice of Bodhi, there is no unsurpassed Bodhi, that is, there is no Buddha. How is it great? Hell, etc., and so on, those with desires, if they think of the suffering of hell, etc., it is the time of hell, etc. For those with desires, even the suffering of swords, etc., cannot be compared. It is said, in this world and the next, etc., in this way, causing people to be disgusted with those with desires, abandoning the conceptual thoughts of desire, in order to completely abandon the conceptual thoughts of harmful thoughts, etc. Therefore, being disgusted with desire will show a liking for solitude. Thus, etc., it is said, etc., peace is without fear. Moonlight is the light of the moon. Because it is pleasing, it is sandalwood, used to cool. High-rise buildings, as wide and vast as palaces. Thinking of the benefit of others, and walking. What is it? Those with fortune, that is, the holy ones. What is it like? Being swayed by the silent, peaceful forest wind. Where in empty houses, etc.? In some places, living as freely as possible, sitting, abandoning the suffering of guarding offerings. This refers to guarding the begging bowl, etc.

One should be separated from the suffering of birth, because earthen bowls and other utensils are bound to be destroyed by thieves. For earthen bowls and other utensils, and empty houses, live freely without dependence. One should abide by living without dependence. If one asks, like this, because of not having abundant utensils, one will be harmed by suffering, and wouldn't samadhi arise from happiness? The answer is, it has been said to live freely and so on, that is, unrelated to anything, because there are no other discriminations and so on. What is contentment and happiness? Because there are no other discriminations and so on. Therefore, in order to explain that one should abandon other discriminations, it is said with those aspects and so on, this is a summary. With those aspects, that is, with discriminations similar to the continuum of discriminations, completely abandon the aspects of object and grasper. Among them, the discriminations similar to the continuum of discriminations are: how can one become a guru without the qualities of others? Like this, the aspect of abandoning, if I become the guru of beings, I do not have such qualities, if one becomes accustomed to the qualities of solitude, it will gradually arise. Without solitude, the mind of the first practitioner will not become workable, as it is said: May the monks who wish to learn, Also see the solitary places. Having abandoned all distractions, May the mind become workable and meditate. Like this, through contemplating the qualities of solitude, Discriminations gradually subside, One should cultivate bodhicitta. Like this, through the samadhi of truly abiding inwardly, cultivate the ten aspects of bodhicitta, and then from all aspects, with the true abiding inwardly, one should first cultivate equality of self and others, therefore, it will be in the manner that will be explained: Equality of self and others, One should first strive to cultivate, Because equality of self and others and so on are the nature of excellent qualities. How should one cultivate?
