That is to say, it is accompanied by being disturbed by anger. Therefore, one should abide like a piece of wood. One should also think like this: If one desires gain, respect, or fame, or if one strives for attendants and retinue, or if one wants to receive offerings for oneself, then one should abide like a piece of wood. Similarly, abandoning and discarding the affairs of others is abandoning the affairs of others. Those who want to pursue their own interests, or who want a retinue, or who strive for learning, etc., or if the mind of wanting to speak arises, like this, one's own mind wavers and wants to speak, then one should abide like a piece of wood. Similarly, the state of not being able to endure is unbearable laziness. Fear is cowardice. Similarly, recklessness is boldness. Garrulousness is confused speech. Similarly, if the mind of partiality towards oneself arises, then one should abide like a piece of wood. Like from attachment until manifest clinging to one's own faction, like this, examine other afflictions such as concealment, etc., or examine the mind of meaningless diligence, such as when digging the ground, etc., observe and examine without revealing intention. At that time, the hero, with the antidote, because of having mindfulness, should firmly grasp the mind of having awareness. Because of firmly grasping and being stable, it is reasonable, one should engage in the activities of the body and speech. By means of the discipline of holding vows and accumulating virtue, the mind is tamed in that way. If you want to know how to take the discipline of benefiting sentient beings, then it is said "very certain" etc. Very certain is with a firm vow. Utterly pleased is having wisdom and mindfulness, and having faith in qualities. Teaching is not fearing difficulties. With deep and vast intention, respect for the Three Jewels and the lamas and the Dharma holders, that is, to serve, and for the younger generation, one should also regard them as lamas. Entering with these, therefore, is with respect and reverence. Considering oneself and others, being ashamed of faults is shame, being accompanied by this is having shame. Being afraid of faults is fear, being accompanied by this is having fear. Even if there are causes for excitement, one should be peaceful.

. Strive to please others with the four objects of collection, such as giving. Children who disagree with each other are not tired of desires, but with patience. Children do not want suffering, and also want to inflict the cause of suffering on others. When afflictions arise, thinking of these, with loving-kindness, towards faultless things, I and sentient beings have taken control, and constantly take control. Like an illusion, without self, this mind should always be held. In order to indicate that such a mind should be held very well today, having obtained the excellence of leisure and endowment for a long time, thinking again and again, the mind from extreme certainty to non-existence, like that Mount Meru, should be held unshakably by all the demons. Such a mind should be held. It is not the body, because it is without mind and cannot benefit itself. If not, vultures are attached to meat, and because of greed for meat, they pull my body back and forth. Why don't they transform this body into something else today? Even for a living body that cannot be used, one protects the mind of love and so on. It is not reasonable that the protection is done by me. To indicate that it is unreasonable, it is said that the body and so on. Alas! This body has been taken as mine, why do you protect it? To indicate that taking it as mine is also unreasonable, it is said that you and so on. You and these two are separate, if you do not protect this body, what harm does it do to you? If there is no holding, alas! Foolish mind, why don't you hold a pure wooden statue? If you say you can't do it, then it is said that this illusory wheel of the impure crowd. Therefore, if you say that it should not be protected because it is not edible, then why do you protect rotten things? It will become unnecessary. If you say that there is a little essence in this, so it should be protected, then it is said that the beginning and so on. Because the skin itself is the order, this is the order of the skin. Own.
