In order to abandon lineage and so on, because it is the best of all virtuous roots, and because it is motivated by the superior intention to benefit and bring happiness to all sentient beings, and is in accordance with it, it is the best of all sentient beings, thus proclaiming the possession of immeasurable accumulations of merit. From "Although there is a mind that wants to abandon suffering" to "Where is such merit?" has been proclaimed. Now, in order to show that the individual who generates the entering mind is also the object of all praise, "Repaying kindness with malice" and so on are proclaimed. Now, in order for this person to have the qualities of bestowing the happiness of heaven and liberation on all sentient beings, in order to lead to the abandonment of evil thoughts by pointing out the faults of generating evil thoughts towards him, "If there is such a" and so on are said. Now, in order to lead to the generation of joy by showing the benefits of generating joy towards him, "However, if there is" and so on are said. Because he possesses uncommon qualities, in order to show that he is an object of reverence, and that even if harmed, he can benefit with happiness, he is an object of reverence and refuge, therefore "To whom there is a noble mind" and so on are said. The meaning of the limbs is easy to understand, so it is not distinguished. From "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life" and so on, also in order to show the meaning of entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life, it is said as such. Among them, what is a Bodhisattva? What is entering the practice? By whom is it shown? Among them, there are seven types of Bodhisattvas: those who abide in lineage, those who generate the mind, those who practice with faith, those who enter the practice, those who do not regress, those who are bound by one lifetime, and those who are the last. Among them, the practice of those who abide in lineage is: it should be known as it is said in the Bodhisattva Grounds, how the characteristics of the lineage of the six perfections arise. The ritual of generating the mind is the "Twenty Verses" or as it is said in this treatise. The practice of faith should also be known as the former. The practice of entering the practice is the ground and
