Now, the maturation is also explained. Great King, by the maturation of the roots of virtue of your perfectly complete Bodhicitta, you are born many times in the realm of the gods, and many times in the realm of humans, becoming the place of birth for gods and humans, and you will also be able to exercise power. However, Great King, the karma of the roots of virtue of your perfectly complete Bodhicitta will not be diminished or increased. However, Great King, even a single unsurpassed, perfectly complete Bodhicitta is aimed at making all sentient beings happy, at making all sentient beings comfortable, and at liberating all sentient beings from suffering. If the roots of virtue become countless and immeasurable, etc., then what need is there to mention doing more? As with the mind of entering, merit does not arise continuously. This says that unlike generating the mind of entering, immeasurable accumulations of merit will not arise. Then, from the arising of the mind of entering, from what time to what time, how many numbers will there be, how great a scope will there be? In order to answer in order, it is said from when it starts, etc. From starting today, etc., to the interval, it shows from when it arises. To the interval of not ceasing, it shows to when it arises. Arising as vast as the sky, this shows how great a scope will arise. For the sake of liberating the boundless realm of sentient beings. This shows the supreme purpose. With an irreversible mind, this shows the thought of not giving up even if faced with danger to life, that is, it shows the perfect thought. This mind, this shows the supreme thing, that is, it shows the nature of the vows. Truly, this shows the perfect ritual of truly receiving. If asked, what evidence is there that so much merit will arise? It is said that this is, etc., in order to guide the inferior Hinayana followers to the Mahayana, for the benefit of immeasurable sentient beings, so it is said that it has the result of having immeasurable accumulations of merit.

It should be understood from the Sutra of Good Hands. Also, from the Sutra Requested by Arya Deva Given, it says: Whatever merit of the Bodhi mind, if that has form, the realm of space is all filled, that increases more than that. Similarly, from the Sutra of the Three Aggregates, it also says that when the mind is generated towards Bodhi, as soon as it is generated, the accumulation of merit is extremely great. The accumulation of merit of all sentient beings in the world becoming wheel-turning kings, world protectors, Indra, Brahma, Shravakas, and Pratyekabuddhas is not even that much. Therefore, just by generating the mind towards Bodhi, it surpasses all the accumulations of merit of Shravakas and others in that way, what need is there to mention the unsurpassed Bodhi? Therefore, it is said to generate the mind with the thought, "I should not desire the inferior vehicle, I should desire the great vehicle." Therefore, in order to be seized by the supreme purpose, it shows that it possesses immeasurable accumulations of merit. Now, in order to show that it possesses immeasurable accumulations of merit from the aspect of action, it says "or again." The meaning gathered here is that this entering Bodhicitta, which is extremely rare and arises from the intention to benefit and bring happiness to all sentient beings, abandons all suffering and discomfort for oneself and others, and brings happiness and comfort, therefore it possesses immeasurable accumulations of merit. Also, merit is said to arise from offerings, and the unsurpassed offering is this generation of Bodhicitta. As it is said in the Sutra Taught by Arya Inexhaustible Wisdom, these three are unsurpassed offerings, namely generating the mind towards Bodhi. Therefore, because this is the unsurpassed offering, it shows that it possesses immeasurable accumulations of merit, and it speaks of just the thought of benefiting others and so on. Now, this very generation of the mind towards Bodhi brings benefit and happiness to all sentient beings, and eliminates suffering and discomfort.
