Having mentioned "extremely definite" etc. "Extremely definite" means the faith of believing in the fruit of benefiting sentient beings. "Excellent" means the faith of joy arising from seeing the benefits done by sentient beings, and the faith of wanting to accomplish it oneself. "Steady" means not turning back from it. "Body" means from the aspect of the body. "Speech" means from the aspect of speech. Knowing shame and fear, "busy" means from the aspect of friends. "Peaceful" means from the aspect of mind, one should strive to benefit others in this way. Alternatively, "extremely definite" means thinking that one is capable of benefiting sentient beings, that is, with unyielding diligence. "Excellent" means putting on armor in one's mind, that one will definitely benefit sentient beings, that is, with the diligence of armor. "Steady" means the diligence of not turning back from it. "Diligence" means engaging in it, that is, with the diligence of engagement. "Making others happy" means the object on which diligence should be initiated. "Possessing shame and fear" means knowing shame and being ashamed, that is, with the help of diligence. "Possessing respect and reverence" and "peaceful" means from the three aspects of body, speech, and mind as before, this is explaining how to initiate the way of benefiting sentient beings. Thus, abiding in the mindfulness that accompanies practice, after explaining how to train in the three vows, now, in order to mainly explain training in guarding the mind, it is said "mutually discordant" etc. The first verse explains guarding the mind by abiding in compassion. The second verse explains guarding the mind by abiding in knowing shame and being ashamed. The third verse explains guarding the mind by thinking about the difficulty of finding leisure and fortune. Therefore, these sentient beings who dwell in the world, due to mutual discord, although they experience various sufferings by being particularly attached to sensual pleasures, etc., they do not become weary of it, but instead, due to the arising of afflictions such as greed, they manifestly engage in non-virtuous actions.

, thinking: In order to generate this thought, these are dwelling in suffering and the cause of suffering, and for their sake, my mind should not be dominated by afflictions. Moreover, with oneself and sentient beings as the main focus, abiding in shame and embarrassment, not clinging to self, in an illusory way, keeping the objects of virtuous Dharma in mind. It is extremely difficult to obtain leisure and endowment, and after obtaining it, do not let it be wasted in vain, thus guarding one's own mind, this is the meaning of the limb. Now it is to show that one should not guard because of excessive attachment to the body. Saying "vulture" etc., thus showing: If you do not guard in a way that is excessively attached to the body, then the body will become unpleasant, dispel this doubt, even if you are harmed by vultures etc. in the charnel ground etc., your body will not be unpleasant. Now why is it unpleasant if you don't guard it, and keep silent, you shouldn't expect it, that's what it means. Even so, does the mind still guard the body with excessive attachment? Said "the body is" etc. If you don't guard, will the mind be harmed? Said "you and" etc. If you must rely on me? Said "ignorant" etc., because it is an impure thing, so it is not worth relying on, that's what I thought. How is it an impure thing? Said "first" etc. If you need to be my enjoyment? Said "your" etc., on the one hand, because you cannot be enjoyed, you should not guard, on the other hand, because foxes etc. can be enjoyed, you should guard, that is the meaning. So what should I do? Thinking: This body of all people should not only be used for good deeds by giving clothes etc. temporarily, but also should not be guarded as enjoyment, because you can never be enjoyed. For example, just like you can't get benefits from slaves etc. Thinking: Like this, you
