This is the paragraph. The example shown here is the blade on the battlefield, for example, like a trained enemy who is proficient in the art of weapons, attacking the opponent with great diligence on the battlefield of swords, just like not being hit. Therefore, through phrases such as "thereupon," it is taught that people should diligently learn. Thereupon, it refers to the cutting of swords. For example, if the sword falls from the hand, it should be quickly picked up and held, so as not to allow the enemy to find an opportunity, which is the meaning of "do not wait for the opportunity." Similarly, just like that, by overcoming the enemy of afflictions, one should hold and manifest mindfulness without slackening and without forgetting, just like holding a sword. Hell is crying and so on, because of forgetting mindfulness, one should firmly remember the suffering there. If someone asks, why not let it go? Even the slightest affliction will not reduce practice at all. Just as it is said in "like blood," even the slightest mistake should not be let go. Otherwise, if it is allowed to enter the mind, it will be impossible to prevent its growth. For example, just like a small wound on the body, even a tiny affliction like dust should be prevented from eroding, just like poison mixed with blood. Furthermore, in order to explain how to rely on effort, it is said, "a little ghee," etc. For example, if a man is ordered by a tyrant to take a container filled with black ghee and go to a noisy place, and the king's man holding a sword says to him, if a drop of black ghee falls, I will kill you immediately, he will walk while watching, thinking that if I make a mistake, I will definitely be killed, so he will work hard because he is afraid of death. Similarly, a practitioner who upholds the precepts, because he is afraid of falling from his own nature and suffering the pain of hell, etc., should strive to not miss any opportunity, that is, he should have diligence. To summarize what has been said above, therefore, it is said, "therefore," etc., because why?

Just like that, therefore it will come to the side, just like coming into the embrace. A snake is a venomous snake, so be quick, don't let me be caught by poison. Like this, if drowsiness comes, that is, drowsiness and dullness come, then to prevent it, the antidote is to practice impermanence etc. to dispel it. Also, like this, even if you try hard, if you fail one out of a hundred, and you decline in the manner of weakening faculties, then at that time you should dispel it and strive to practice, in order to show this reason, so it is said "faults arise" etc. When mindfulness weakens, if each one, that is, separately finds a chance for afflictions to invade in a hundred, then with the thought of dispelling, make the mind feel pain, and think, alas, this is very difficult, because knowingly committing, in what way can it be dispelled here? In order to prevent it from happening again in the future, one must make a vow and abide by it, and not slacken again, that is its meaning. Therefore, for those who want solitude, in order to prevent it, it is also said "manifestation encounters" etc. That is, hoping and praying to meet with the Khenpo and Acharya or other celibates, as well as those who are learned, understand the three baskets, and are good at eliminating regrets, to practice together, thinking that one can abide by relying on them. The so-called "obtaining karma" refers to having the characteristics of admonition and following the teachings for them, and in order to rise from the fall, hoping that they will give the karma of breaking the precepts. For this reason, with the thought of guarding them from entering. In order to show this reason, so it is said "how", that is, by what method. These times, refers to the time when afflictions invade. The so-called "mindfulness becomes habitual" refers to relying on not making effort, I will become without forgetting, this is achieved through thinking. Here, this is the summarized meaning, that is, when approaching a virtuous friend, through their admonition and following the teachings, as well as seeing their behavior, one can also constantly abide by mindfulness and awareness, therefore one will not find a chance for afflictions to invade. Therefore, for this, where there is no contradiction, one should increase joy. What
