The spoken stages are not reversed. Therefore, the truth spoken is a statement of reason. If asked what kind of truth was spoken? It was said about bees and so on. The "also" refers to the Buddha, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, as well as Ratnaketu, Dipankara, and so on. They were immersed in the cycle of the ocean of samsara, in the state of their previous individual ordinary beings, when they were completely in samsara. When they generated the power of diligence, that is, when they accumulated merit with the power of increasing diligence. Bodhi is difficult to obtain, meaning it is difficult to find, and supreme attainment means excellent. There is no difficulty whatsoever in initiating diligence, this is the truth, understand it this way. I have been born as a human, that is, I have obtained the opportunity to be born as a human. By virtue of the ability to distinguish between benefit and harm. This refers to, this is beneficial, this is not beneficial, thus being able to distinguish between virtuous and non-virtuous actions, and being able to understand. Therefore, in order to show that it is not difficult for me to attain Bodhi, he said "mine" and so on. Think like this. Omniscience refers to knowing the reality of things. This method is the teaching that shows the reality of what to take and what to abandon. If one does not abandon, it means not completely abandoning. It refers to accepting it, completely holding it, relying on it, and so on. Why can't I attain Buddhahood? It is shown in a subtle way that it will definitely be attained. This is what the Bhagavan said in the Ratnamegha Sutra. If a Bodhisattva thinks like this: becoming a human body, attaining Bodhi is difficult, my diligence is small and weak, and I am also lazy, Bodhi is like a flame burning on the top of the head, it takes many kalpas, hundreds and thousands of kalpas to accomplish, I am unwilling to bear such a burden. Do not generate such thoughts. However, the Bodhisattva is like this: the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, those who have already manifestly and completely attained Buddhahood, those who are currently manifestly and completely attaining Buddhahood, and those who will manifestly and completely attain Buddhahood.

Also in this way, also by this path, also by this diligence, one realizes perfect complete enlightenment, realizes Bodhi, and becomes enlightened. Those Tathagatas also only become Tathagatas, and do not realize perfect complete enlightenment. I must, in any case, realize perfect complete enlightenment, the unsurpassed and perfect Bodhi, through the common diligence with all sentient beings, and the diligence focused on all sentient beings, and I will seek and strive in that way. This is the right reason. However, hearing of the extremely difficult practice alone, one cannot prevent the thought of discouragement. Or it is said that without giving hands, feet, and head, etc., one cannot attain Buddhahood, so the fear and joy that arise from entering extremely difficult practices will also disappear. If one thinks like this, it is said to one's own mind. Regarding this, I am ignorant of heavy and light, what is small is large, and what is large is small, being controlled by ignorance. Not examining is because of not understanding, I have not truly examined. If one truly examines, then heavy and light are reversed. It is said that kalpas, etc., being in the prison of samsara, due to such karma, I am cut off, because of cutting off hands, feet, etc., body, limbs, and oneself, so that is not in hells, etc. Similarly, piercing is with spears and javelins, etc. Burning is with hells, etc. Cutting is with burning saws, etc. Many times, many times, on the endless path of samsara, suffering is experienced in hells, etc. Countless billions of kalpas, which cannot be counted. Therefore, even unwillingly, countless kinds of endless suffering will arise, and that is not becoming the retinue of the Buddha. This is because samsara has no end, so suffering is very great, and the result is...

It is also non-existent. In order to show that attaining Buddhahood itself is very small and also has fruits. "My" etc. were said. The suffering of mine that is done by attaining Buddhahood itself is measurable, because the time is fixed. Also, in order to eliminate the oppression of the sting that has become the cause of suffering. Eliminating it is to reverse it. The reason for this is that it is left aside and the suffering of a lifetime is eliminated. In order to eliminate the emptiness of its sting, it means to make wounds on the body and take them out and expel them. Like this, the very small suffering that is fixed at various times is the reason for the pacification of long-term suffering, so this suffering should also be endured. "All doctors" etc. were said, and this is also a collection. All doctors are not just me. By being sick and doctors etc., for those who are tormented by the suffering of actions arising from the prohibition of eating and living as they please, it creates no disease, otherwise it cannot be pacified. Because that is so, even very, very small suffering should be endured. Why? In order to destroy many sufferings. That is, in order to pacify all the long-term suffering of myself and all sentient beings. A wise person should temporarily commit like this, although it is reasonable here, the Blessed One did not first allow beginners to engage in difficult work, in order to show this. "Medical treatment" etc. were said. Such suitable medical treatment is for those who cause the suffering just mentioned, and even if it is suitable, it should be shown. The best doctor is the Blessed One, because he heals all diseases, so in any case it is not allowed first, and it is shown that it is not something that a beginner should do. So, how do you eliminate diseases such as desire? "With gentle approach" etc. were said.
