What did you get from becoming like that? In any case, it will age, even if you live at home, that thing is not yours. Therefore, whether given or not given, what is the use of it? You don't need it at all. Therefore, the wise should remain neutral towards it. Furthermore, one should also examine it in this way for a while, as it is said, "Merit and," etc. The wealth and respect that the giver and the patron, etc., have gained with great faith, why should one abandon the merit of offering to someone with them? By whose power did he gain wealth and respect, that is the manifestation of the ripening of previous karma, and the extreme joy arising from it, or did he abandon the giver and the patron? Or relying on whom these faiths arise, in order to make these beings have faith in me, does he abandon his own merits? If one can gain wealth, should one not take it from them? In what way can you not be satisfied here? Because merit and so on cannot be reversed, and also for grasping the wealth that can be obtained, it is said that there are faults such as "If you do not have all of that," so there is no reason for satisfaction at all. If there are others who have perfect wealth and respect, but I do not have them, then thinking, "Do not let those happen to others," thinking that those are my cause, therefore it is said, "You with yourself," etc., it is easy to understand, whatever suffering, all of those arise from sin, and the obstacle to manifesting desire is also suffering, because it is said, "Seeking what one wants but not finding it is also suffering." Whoever. Those who are free from desire, Will be born to practice sin. It will be explained like this. Whatever it is, all of those arise from merit, having done that, those who desire happiness should strive to do good deeds. "Whoever. Those who do merit desire happiness." Because it will be explained like this. Then, how can one compete with the merit that has been done? Doing good deeds

Hoping to attain happiness for oneself is considered a worthy pursuit of victory. Furthermore, one should inquire thus: If your enemy becomes the object of hatred, and merely because of your wish, displeasure and unwillingness arise, even if some unpleasantness temporarily occurs to them, what effect does that have on you? Or, regardless of whether it affects others or not, I have a slight need for it, thus addressing the doubts in others' minds. "You," etc., refers to your wish, which is desire, meaning the desire to achieve. If it doesn't become a cause merely because of that, then this has no cause, meaning it is causeless; without contradiction, it will not arise. Even if it has already become so, it should be stated after acknowledging it, so "if," etc., is said. Suppose, if your wish is fulfilled and your enemy is unhappy, even so, what happiness do you have in their suffering? None at all, so this wish is unnecessary. If you say, "Because they suffer, I am happy, this is necessary," then "if," etc., is said. Even so, if taking pleasure in the suffering of others is worthwhile and necessary, then what could be worse than that? "What" refers to the particular, this itself is a great destruction. How is this meaningless? "Afflictions," etc., is said, because this, that is, like this, thinking that it is okay for others to be destroyed, such a mind, like repulsive pus and blood, is very frightening. What has it become like? Set up by the fisherman of afflictions, the afflictions themselves act like a fisherman, so it is a fisherman, what he has set up is set up. The fisherman of afflictions, like a fisherman to a fish, the guards of hell, the messengers of Yama seize you, and in a bubble, that is, a type of hell for beings, they cook you, that is, they boil and torment you. Therefore, do not wish for this, this is what is thought. The obstacles of praise, etc., cause suffering, this is also because of not having thought about it, thus closely showing. Praise and fame
