is the cause of creation. Thus, it is impossible to say that someone who is deluded and controlled by the demon of afflictions is without fault, and one should speak to those who have faults. Because both of these share faults in common. It is also said that one should contemplate one's own nature and pacify the mind of anger. Regarding "by what," why is it? If one has acted in such a way as to create the cause of those fruits. "By what" refers to the worldly way of speaking. Or, for what reason, due to the power of karma, one wanders, and others harm and torment each other through bondage, beatings, and so on. If that is the case, shouldn't there be a remedy? The answer is that it has been said "everything," all causes of suffering arise and enter through the causes of karma. Since this is the case, what else can I do to stop its fruit? Because no one can stop the karma that tends to produce the fruit. Also, here it is said that this reasoning is reasonable. After seeing it in this way, it has been said "after seeing it in this way," these sentient beings exist dependent on karma and afflictions. Since it is impossible to prevent each other from doing unreasonable actions, after knowing this, that is, after knowing, one should also strive for virtuous deeds such as meritorious deeds. In what way, after obtaining such power, one enters the right path, at that time all beings will love each other and strive to accomplish benefit and happiness. In order to stop from the harmful mind that destroys beloved objects, one should stop hatred with worldly metaphors, expressed in two verses. It has been said "for example," etc., for example, when a house is on fire, the fire spreads from that house to other houses, spreading in places where there is grass and trees, etc., fearing that other objects in it will also be burned. Therefore, it should be taken out and discarded, and handled separately. Thus the path of the metaphor

It should be understood by connecting "suchness" and other words to the context. As explained in this way, using the method of illustration, if the mind develops attachment or clinging to any object, the fire of hatred, which is the fire of anger, will spread and completely burn it. For the object that has become the object of attachment, it should be abandoned immediately without delay, and the attachment to it should be completely cut off. Why? Because the essence of merit is the body, which means the accumulation of merit. Do not let it be burned and exhausted by the order of the teachings. Otherwise, like things that have gone to another's house, they will also be burned by the fire of hatred. Furthermore, if the suffering that people endure can save sentient beings from falling into the fruit of hell, this is gaining benefit, as stated in the scriptures such as "killing". If the object being killed is only having a hand cut off, then he will not have any loss. Because compared to the pain of death, the pain of cutting off a hand is insignificant, so he will think that he has gained a benefit. Similarly, if one experiences suffering such as whipping, binding, humiliation, etc., and is thus freed from the suffering of falling into hell, then there is no loss at all. This is not suffering at all, compared to the suffering of hell, this is simply happiness. Therefore, if one is a wise person, one should be pleased with this. If someone says, "I cannot even endure the slightest suffering," then the scripture "present suffering" etc. explains this point. If even the slightest suffering caused by punches, kicks, stick blows, etc. cannot be endured, cannot be sustained, then I must ask you: if this is the case, why not stop, not destroy the root cause of the suffering of hell - the hatred that arises from within? Because hatred is the very root cause of the suffering of sentient beings in hell, it is the source of suffering.

It is appropriate to turn away from anger. Furthermore, even if one cannot rely on it, if you have created the cause of anger, even if unwilling, you will fall into suffering, and no result will arise. From patience, one will gain great benefit, so one should be taught with two verses. It is said, "For the sake of anger," etc., because of the nature of anger. Similarly, without result, in the hells of sentient beings, such as the reviving hell, thousands upon thousands of times, I have been tormented by causes such as sticks and beatings, but even though I have experienced suffering, I have not accomplished the result of seeing or not seeing my own benefit, or I have not accomplished the nature of benefiting and bringing happiness to others. Thus, only meaninglessly, I have experienced thousands of sufferings in the hells of sentient beings. Therefore, it is said that even now, it is not appropriate to be impatient. It is said, "This," etc. This suffering is not like the suffering that occurs in the hells of sentient beings, but it becomes a treasure of benefiting and bringing happiness to all sentient beings, and therefore it will accomplish Buddhahood. Therefore, to eliminate the harm of beings, belonging to the three realms, that is, to completely pacify all the suffering of all sentient beings, one should rejoice in this suffering and not be unwilling. In order to wash away the stain of jealousy when hearing of the virtues of others. It is said, "Others," etc. Praising others for having superior qualities, if one only obtains the happiness of joy, then at that time, alas, mind, you also truly speak of his virtues, why do you not experience the happiness of joy? Why meaninglessly let the fire of jealousy burn, making your own continuum like firewood? Because all happiness is the nature of attachment. Hasn't reliance been prohibited? Therefore, because I am turned away from all happiness, I also do not accept this, being completely ignorant in happiness.
