If it is said: To whatever things one becomes attached, that very thing becomes empty when combined with it, and it turns into suffering and arises. Is that what is being taught? You say "you" and so on, but it is not that all joys and pleasures are being negated. However, those that are associated with faults and are the cause of non-virtue are being negated. The joy and pleasure that arises from relying on the virtues of others, which is without fault, is not the cause of non-virtue. Therefore, there is the arising of joy, meaning that there is the arising of joy in this, and that is why. Therefore, it is manifested by those who possess virtues, meaning by those who know the Dharma taught by the Bhagavan. Furthermore, this virtue is also the best for gathering others, meaning that by rejoicing in the virtues of others, one is without jealousy towards virtues, and thinking in this way, one can also gather other sentient beings. Therefore, in this, joy and pleasure should be accepted. However, there is no such thing as me being unable to tolerate the virtues of others. However, can I not proclaim the joy of praise? Here, the words "to others" and so on are spoken, meaning that one does not not praise others. "Joy arises" means that because of this, if you do not desire the joy that arises from praising the virtues of others, then at that time you will very easily fall into doubt. How so? Like abandoning giving wages to servants and so on. Furthermore, you abandon giving wages for work to your own servants and so on, and likewise benefiting others, meaning benefiting those who should be benefited, abandoning those, because of turning away, one who is angry at the happiness of others should also not do that. Because that also accomplishes their happiness. Thus, the seen, meaning the result of this life, and the unseen, meaning the next life, both the inability to tolerate the perfection of the happiness of others will be lost. Furthermore, this is your wrong discrimination, as shown by saying "one's own virtues" and so on. If someone speaks of your virtues, then at that time do you not desire that?

If one desires happiness, and if one praises the virtues of others, then at that time, with a mind filled with the defilement of jealousy, one does not even want one's own happiness. Let alone the happiness of others, this is just a particle. Therefore, you are jealous of the perfection of virtues, and you cannot bear the happiness of the one who praises. Furthermore, just as one becomes happy in that way. If it is said that you do not want this happiness, then in order to refute this distinction, it is said, "all sentient beings," and so on. In particular, after generating the mind of enlightenment, it is extremely shameful to be unable to bear the perfect happiness of others. Because after I attain Buddhahood, I will cause all sentient beings belonging to the three realms to attain perfect happiness, thinking this in my mind. After generating the mind of enlightenment, if one becomes angry with sentient beings, then with a pure mind, treat the object of faith, why are you angry now? Therefore, Bodhisattvas should not turn away from the happiness of others, this is what they think in their minds. Also, when someone who has generated the mind of enlightenment sees their own gain and perfect respect, their mind is afflicted and tormented by jealousy, and in order to rebuke this behavior, they say, "three realms," and so on. Or, even so, I cannot bear that happiness. However, when others hear the virtues he speaks of, their hearts are devout, and they offer them gain and respect, if they cannot bear this behavior, they say, "offerings to the three realms," and so on. The three realms refer to the nature of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, or the three realms of nature, such as the heavens, which are known as the world, and these are all included. Because it is worthy of offering, it is worthy of offering, and should be praised. This shows that it is superior to all, and has become such a Buddha. If it is said that sentient beings want, then this "ra" is

Seeing things in reverse and being dissatisfied, serving the teacher, this indicates also a kind of gain. The rest is easy to understand. Considering the gain, it is said "needs to be nurtured" and so on. Those poor sons and so on that you are to nurture, those that you nurture yourself, you should give away, because that will deplete your wealth. Therefore, your relatives will provide, your wife will provide, if a man like that gains, after gaining, wouldn't he be happy? This is a euphemistic question. Again, it means being angry or unhappy. Like that, also combine it with the specific situation, because all sentient beings are possessed by me, therefore their happiness should be happiness. However, I vow to make those sentient beings Buddhas, not other happiness. Regarding this doubt, it is said "what is that" and so on. Those are also not true, because, today in front of all protectors, I go to the Sugata himself, and invite the happiness in between as a guest, thus vowing. Even if that is so, if that is so, generating Bodhicitta is hoping that those sentient beings attain Bodhi, become Buddhas, is it not wishing for other worldly and transmundane meanings? If you really don't wish that, then the Bodhicitta will also decline, thus it is said. Regarding this, Bodhicitta exists in oneself, because the Bodhisattva violates the vows. For whom? For those who are angry at the wealth of others, for those whose poverty, gain, and respect decline. Causing harm like that is the cause of the Bodhisattva's virtuous deeds declining. Furthermore, even if others do not have complete gain and respect, but that thing will not happen to you, then why hate him for no reason, striving for your own perfect purpose? Thus it is shown. It is said "if" and so on. If, that sentient being that you cannot tolerate, the thing that he relies on is not obtained, even then he lives in the house of the benefactor.
