Who is harmed, and who will become angry? It is said in the sutra: Like entering nirvana, etc. Because it is free from all conceptualizations of the agent, like entering nirvana, all dharmas are without mind and unwavering, who would be angry at such people? Those with conceptualizations should not be angry at anyone, that is his thought. If that is the case, if one is accomplished, the other will decline, doubts arise about this. It is said in the sutra: Who, etc. The reason for accomplishment is also to dispel, and dispelling is also like entering nirvana. It is not appropriate for inanimate objects. The so-called "like that" means that when no autonomous being is seen at any time, and everything arises depending on the aggregation of causes and conditions, then the dispeller should also not be like that. If that is the case, even if it is like that, why shouldn't it be? Which autonomous agent would dispel? Which autonomous entry should be dispelled? It should be like this: similar reasons, some enter, some should not turn back. If one turns back, then all should turn back, but some are not, because the reasons are similar. Therefore, dispelling is not reasonable. If you think that this is reasonable, then the answer here is: it should be dispelled. Why? Because of dependence. Because for things without an agent, there is dependent origination that says "depending on this, that arises," so it should be dispelled, therefore there is no contradiction. This will be declared as follows: even though all dharmas have no agent, even so, they are shown to be controlled by others by the power of dependent origination. Therefore, everything is controlled by others. Therefore, by the power of ignorance and other causes, the fruit is led from above to above, so the nature of actions and so on enters, and when the former is reversed, it retreats. These will also be explained in detail later. It is desired to manifest that the continuous suffering of samsara is cut off and retreats, therefore, it is reasonable to dispel the entry of anger and other sins. Depending on these.

Such eminence and the fruit of the nature of definite goodness arise. Now, let us apply it to the present situation. Therefore, it is said, "Because," etc. Because everything arises dependently, unfriendliness and harming others are caused by conditions. One should focus on happiness. Why? Because this is the cause of harm, and the reasonable unfriendliness or otherness is like this. Having determined this, abide in happiness and do not be unhappy. Furthermore, even if the mind is disturbed by the approach of suffering, one does not wish for the cessation of suffering. This is what is to be shown. It is said, "If," etc. Merely by one's own desire, one does not wish for the causeless to cease, nor will what is desired remain. If that were the case, no sentient being would suffer. Why? Because no one wishes to suffer. Thus, all sentient beings desire their own happiness. Having spoken of enduring suffering, now the patience of not caring about the harm done by others is shown. It is said, "The negligent," etc. Acting without examination is negligence. One inflicts thorns, pits, rubble, stones, gravel, etc., on one's own body, or enters a difficult and improper path, or sleeps on a bed of thorns, etc. Similarly, food, drink, clothing, etc., also cause harm. Why? Because of greed, wanting to obtain what should not be done, such as the wives and wealth of others. Obstruction is hindrance. A precipice is a cliff, such as a mountain cliff. Entering water and fire, etc., and eating poison and unsuitable things, etc., is overeating and undereating, etc. Some are not foolish. Rada refers to one's own body being harmed by the harm of others, that is, killing. Non-virtuous conduct is engaging in unwholesome actions in battlefields, etc., with the intention of killing others. When one is controlled by afflictions in the order shown, it is because one is dominated by afflictions.
