It is not one who is compliant. All the incomplete limbs that have become like this will also discern themselves as if those people treat me like a slave. This is very strange! "My mind" and so on are said, relying on my mind itself to cause harm to oneself. Joy means without worldliness or without thought. Those who are relied upon are unreasonable. Even for those unreasonable things, I will not be angry, this is expressed by the implication of words. Shouldn't those who generate Bodhicitta feel indifferent to the harm caused by others? Here it says "non-place", in a situation like this, having a tolerant attitude is to be condemned. Why is that, you can't bear those? It says "if" and so on. How those people create the suffering of hell and so on, other enemies cannot lead and use. What is the fire of Avici like? It says "Mount Meru also" and so on. Mount Meru also, put it aside for the time being like other bad things. When the king of mountains and fire meet, even ashes cannot be seen, because they are burned by fierce flames. There I will be abandoned in an instant, into such a fire. The causes of uninterrupted karma are all powerful and capable, because there is no antidote to fully instigate. So why are you so attached to those with hatred, but not to other enemies? It says "mine" and so on. Beginningless and endless refers to the previous and later times, because samsara has no end. For other enemies, the sun is each determined to exist. Other enemies are gods and humans and so on. So if you follow those in accordance, wouldn't it become freedom, beneficial, and bring happiness? Here it says "follow" and so on. These afflictions, if followed like that, will not be beneficial

It is because of this that the suffering of sentient beings in hell and so on is greatly increased. Because of their untamed nature, they must be severely destroyed. Therefore, (the Buddha) said, 'I must certainly do these things.' Like that, it is like that, continuous and without interruption. Because they abide without beginning or end, and because they are constantly destroying, they are long-standing enemies. In some books, it is read as 'continuous,' which is explained as meaning continuous and uninterrupted. Furthermore, what is particularly explained is that 'harm' refers to all the suffering that sentient beings experience in hell and so on. Those very things that are the sole cause of the arising of suffering are firmly established in the heart. If they exist, I will not be afraid in samsara, how could I be free from fear and be happy? This is unreasonable.' Furthermore, because the enemies of afflictions have been abandoned, because of clinging to blood feuds, placing them in the mind, therefore 'the prison of samsara' and so on are spoken of, which is the cause of generating renunciation. In hell and so on, the executioners who kill are the messengers of Yama, because those who are controlled by afflictions see them due to the ripening of karma. Like that, if those things that are the source of all faults abide in the house of the mind, that is, if they abide in the storehouse, how could I be happy? Therefore, it should be shown here that I think it is reasonable to do this. 'Like that' and so on are spoken of, because like that, those are the cause of all faults. 'Burden' refers to the load placed on the back of an ox. Because it is similar to a burden, it is a burden, that is, holding a vow. 'This' refers to the nature of affliction, because it is in front, it is indicated with 'this' in a manifest way. 'Manifestly' means as I see it. 'Certainly destroy' means to completely eliminate. 'Diminishing' also refers to diminishing harm, and also refers to the cause of hatred established by parents.

Or rather, things become small. Anger refers to the firm attachment of regarding the other as an enemy in one's heart, which means holding a grudge. The arrogant ones are those with burning arrogance. "That" refers to harm. Not destroyed means not having destroyed it. Unable to sleep means the mind is not peaceful and not happy. The present situation should be abandoned, and the classification should be clarified. "Self-nature" and so on are mentioned. Self-nature means that one will die in essence, because the end of being alive is death. For whoever has that, that is what it is called, which means that it exists and is suffering. Those who are tormented by the suffering of birth and so on, or tormented by it. Precisely because of this, it is affliction, it is pitiable. When sharpened on the battlefield, it refers to the main place of engagement, that is, where the army with strength on the battlefield is. "Forcibly" means forcibly, that is, to the best of one's ability. To destroy means to be separated from life. Intense means radiant, which means initiating diligence. If you ask what it has become, it means enduring the pain of being struck by arrows and spears, that is, not caring about the damage of weapons on the battlefield, it means a great man. If one does not face backwards, it means that one will not retreat. The matter is not accomplished means that what one wants to accomplish has not been accomplished. Afflictions are especially declared in a firm manner. "Always" and so on are said, always means all the time. Self-nature refers to enemies who have not caused harm and have no reason. Diligence means effort, which means making an effort. "Now" means this time, this is the worldly saying. Laziness refers to the cowardice of feeling that one is not capable of doing what should be done. Discouragement means being disheartened, or unhappy, or having low thoughts. This is a brief statement, referring to not being discouraged and not being lazy. What need is there to say more, refers to that.
