The four great elements. Those are also the basis of bedding, cushions, grains, medicines, flowers, fruits, roots, etc., and similarly, they are the cause of drinks and food, etc. Therefore, they should also be combined with others. Just as the use of countless sentient beings pervading the infinite sky is near, so may I also enjoy all sentient beings in many forms. All enter into Nirvana. It is said that until all are not completely liberated from the suffering of samsara, therefore, those who seek enlightenment should abandon these bodies, etc. These giving are also shown to be extremely vast in the Compendium of Trainings. That is, as it is said in the Pratimoksha of the Bodhisattva in the same, Shariputra, moreover, the Bodhisattva generates the thought of others in all dharmas, and does not take anything. What is the reason for this? Because taking is to be abandoned, after saying that, it is also said in the same, Shariputra, thus Bodhisattvas are heroes, they completely give their own hands, completely give their feet, completely give their noses, completely give their heads, completely give their limbs and parts of limbs, and even completely give all their possessions, as it is said. Similarly, it is also said in the Sutra Requested by Sredmed's Son, any object for which the mind of giving does not arise, and the thought of giving does not enter, that object should not be hoarded. Son of lineage, however, the Bodhisattva should generate such a mind, even my body is given to all sentient beings and completely given away, what need is there to mention external objects, etc., extensively. Similarly, in the Noble Inexhaustible Intelligence Sutra, it is also said, I have determined this body for whatever use all sentient beings have, for example, the earth element, the fire element, the water element, and the wind element, these four great elements with various doors, various kinds, and various objects
