Therefore, it will not be said that it is born from me. Therefore, it does not transfer in the three times. If it is also not the same as where it comes from, or where it goes. Like a cataract, the phenomenon that appears in this way has no self-nature, and does not exist even with a little analysis. At that time, what is the difference from illusion? The illusion transformed by the illusionist, such as elephants, etc., whose essence is the same as cataracts, what difference is there in terms of self-nature? There is none at all. The so-called "this" refers to the complete manifestation of the phenomenon of things produced by causes and conditions. Why is there no difference? Also, because it is desired to clearly explain this point, it is said "by illusion" and so on. The word "illusion" here should be understood as the difference between the illusion transformed by illusion and so on. Because the effect arises from the cause, in order to understand the nature of the cause and illusion, in order to understand the thing and what it transforms, it is said, "By the cause of illusion, by the nature of illusion, what is transformed?" Whatever the essence of things is transformed and produced by various causes, that is, the various causes spoken of in the world. The two "also" words are for mutual inclusion. Transformation is appearance. Therefore, where is the transformation of illusion, or the transformation of cause, the self-nature of things? Where does it come from? Where does it go? That is, when it is destroyed, where will it go? Therefore, observe in this way: If it comes from where, and goes to where, observe with careful observation. If things are produced by the power of causes and conditions, then how can it be false? In order to show that it is false, it is said "anything with others" and so on. Whatever the essence of things, if you see other causes and conditions approaching, that is, being observed, if it does not exist, then it is not true, if it does not depend on others, when can it be seen? Because it depends on others to exist, that's why it is like this. Like an image, just like the image of a face etc. seen in the center of a mirror, it is said to be like an image because it is similar.

Just as images such as those of a well appear when near a mirror-like mandala, but do not appear when absent, similarly, the nature of things depends on the proximity or distance of causes and conditions. Such things, which depend on others for their existence, lack inherent existence. How can truth exist in something without inherent existence? How can falsehood exist? It is illogical. It is impossible for something to be non-deceptive if it differs in nature from others. As it is said: Those things that arise from causes, without which they cannot exist, why do you not clearly accept that they are like reflections? Therefore, what is produced by causes and conditions does not exist even slightly in ultimate truth. It is also impossible for causes and conditions themselves to have any power anywhere. Thus, to show that for causes that are of the nature of self, other, and both, the nature of both existence and non-existence of things, that which does not exist is not an agent, therefore it is said, "things exist," etc. Because for existing things, there is no action of causes, therefore, for what inherently exists from the beginning is the cause, what need is there for causes? Because the result is established, there is no nature to be established, so the action of causes is not necessary. Assuming the second permanence, it is said, "However, it is," etc. However, it is to clarify another aspect, that without it is the nature of non-existence. Then, what need is there for a cause? Because at that time nothing exists, because it is also the nature of non-existence, so there is no action of cause on it. Thus, even if existence is established, because there is no action of cause, even if there is a cause, there is no need. If asked, why does something that does not exist not arise? It is said, "Hundreds of thousands," etc. Non-existent things, that is, the nature that is not existence, cannot be transformed, because the very nature of things does not have otherness, and even by analysis, there is nothing to be done about it. Even with hundreds of thousands of causes, for the moment, there are a hundred causes, a thousand causes, etc.
