It exists. Therefore, because of eating food, there will be concern about eating it. Furthermore, this other consequence is also said to those who speak of the existence of the effect. It is said, "The price of cloth," etc., in connection with "If the effect exists in the cause." Because the seed of cotton, that is, the effect that will arise from the cause, cotton exists. With the price of cloth, that is, with the price of buying it, buy the seed of cotton, and then take it and divide it, that is, make it into clothes. However, if that is the case, if the effect truly exists in the cause, even so, this is conventionally not seen by the worldly people of terminology whose eye of wisdom has been impaired by the dimness of ignorance, so it is said, "The world is ignorant," etc. Because of ignorance, that is, because of not understanding. Even if the reality of things exists, it is not seen, that is, it is not seen by the world. Therefore, it will not become the fault of speech. If it is said that it is said, then, is the knower of reality also existing? If the worldly people have not seen it, and therefore say so, then it is reasonable for the knower of reality, because the knower of reality also does not know that the effect exists from the cause. In reality, the logician of reasoning also exists, and that is also common to all people of terminology, and those people do not see that eating food, etc., is entering, and denying the seed of cotton in order to obtain cloth. It is said, "This is not the reason for this answer," it is said, "The world," etc. Worldly people, that is, for ordinary individuals of terminology, there is also the knowledge that the effect exists in the cause, and not only for the knower of reality. In that way, after seeing the effect, it is certain for both the knower of reality and the worldly people that the effect exists in the cause. Then, with what cause do the worldly people not see? For that, the reason why the worldly people do not see should be stated. It is said, "The sight of the worldly people is valid," it is said, "The world," etc. It is not valid, that is, his knowledge is not valid, and there is also no clear seeing.

The nature of seeing that becomes clearly visible is also non-existent, therefore it becomes non-valid. Thus, it is not a vehicle to establish the reality of things. This is also what we accept, because all conventional valid cognitions are not ultimately valid. Likewise, you also fall into our side. Thus abiding, the Samkhya proponents also refute with the same fault. If you say "valid cognition" etc., if valid cognition also does not become ultimately valid, and this is your position, then does that which is measured not become false? If valid cognition is itself non-valid, then what is measured by it, that is, what is completely determined by valid cognition, is obtained as false and not true. Otherwise, what will it become? Therefore, in that case, the emptiness of things is not reasonable. If valid cognition is itself non-valid, then what is measured by it is also false. At that time, what here is ultimate? Things are dharmas, and emptiness is the absence of inherent existence of all dharmas, and that determination of valid cognition is also not reasonable, and not logical, because everything shown by all valid cognitions is also false. If all dharmas do not exist, then is it the same logic to establish the valid cognition that examines them? Here is the answer: "Examined" etc. is said. Examined, that is, imputed by conceptualization. Things are dharmas, untouched, that is, not grasped by the mind of conceptualization, then it does not grasp that thing, it is not an object. Likewise, after completely examining the imputed nature of a pot, the absence of a pot related to it is understood by worldly people, because of conceptualizing the pot, there is this fame in the world. When it does not abide in its nature even slightly, then it is non-existent, and there is very little of the inverted nature from it. To show that examination, therefore, "therefore" etc. is said. For what reason, because the distinction of examining things does not grasp the non-existence of things, therefore, in the falsehood of where, what thing does not exist in what place. The non-existence of that is clearly false. That is, the nature of the non-existence of things.
