Without doubt, one should meditate on emptiness, which means being free from doubt and hesitation. By abiding in this way, one should meditate, which means one should become accustomed to it. Emptiness is the absence of inherent existence in all phenomena, due to the yoga of not focusing on inherent existence. This is the conclusion of "What path is without this." Furthermore, if someone asks what is the use of seeing emptiness, then the qualities of emptiness are stated as "afflictions, knowable objects," etc. Afflictions are desire and so on, and knowable objects are of five types. The word "obscuration" is related to both. Afflictions themselves are obscurations, and for knowable objects, it is the function of obscuring, so they are called obscurations, etc. They should be connected separately in this way, because knowable objects are the nature of superimposition. That obscuration itself is darkness like darkness, because it obscures the reality of things. Its antidote is the antidote of abandonment. The word "indeed" means, for what reason? Because it is emptiness, therefore quickly and swiftly desiring omniscience, which is desiring and manifestly desiring the Buddha, that is what is said to that. By desiring omniscience, it is desiring omniscience. How does one not meditate? That is, how does one not meditate on emptiness, that is, not become accustomed to it. However, one should meditate with great effort. Furthermore, someone says that because of fear, one will not enter into emptiness, but that is also unreasonable, so it is said, "What thing produces suffering," etc. In the second chapter, it should be connected again in this way, emptiness has this benefit, but initially one will not enter into it because of fear, if asked, then it is said, "What thing produces suffering," etc. Whatever thing produces suffering and torments, from that fear arises, however, emptiness again pacifies that suffering, that is, it abandons the suffering of all those in samsara. From that, that is, from emptiness, how, that is, without fear.

How does fear arise in beings who have previously changed from their earthly state? Because it is the source of all virtues, it is reasonable to rejoice in it, I thought. Fear arises from clinging to self and from arising from clinging to mine. This only arises for the ignorant. Moreover, because the nature fabricated by clinging to self, clinging to mine also does not exist on it, so it is not a place. To show this meaning, it is said if it is me, etc. In any case, fear arises from the place of fear, and indeed there will be fear. When? If you think you have accepted a little, and speak in the realm called me, the word me is only something that is recognized by the consciousness that clings to me, if there is a little existence, then at that time it is reasonable to fear. Whenever, if you examine that there is a little thing in yourself, if I am slightly different from sound and discrimination and exist, then what does that I refer to, because this does not exist, there will be fear, if it arises, examining in this way, fear will subside, I thought. It is also said: I am not existent, not born, not changing. My non-existence, existence is not changing. In this way, children are afraid, but the fear of the wise is exhausted. It is said. In any case, because I have become the object of consciousness, it is briefly shown only through knowledge, in order to show non-existence, so hair and nails, etc. are said. Teeth, hair, and nails are not me. These are not the objects of consciousness that cling to me. I am not bones and blood, and these two, bones and blood, are not me. Snot is not, phlegm is not me. Snot and phlegm are not me. Pus is the moisture of the wound, and pus is the blood that is fully matured in the wound. Those are not me either. I am not fat and dust. The so-called fat is the oil of the body. Sweat is complete sweating. Oil is four elements, and these are not me either. The internal organs are not me either. The so-called internal organs are fame, and that is not me either. Fat is not me either. I am not feces and urine. Completely say
