It is a summary of meaning. Because there is controversy, the scripture should be abandoned. In connection, the scripture other than the scripture you have promised, the difference of the scripture is also because there is controversy, so it should not be promised. Your scripture also depends on others and is controversial, so it is the same in terms of what should be abandoned. Or "self" refers to the Sutra and Abhidharma that abide in one sect. Because they are controversial with each other, the Sutra, Vinaya, and Dharma Abhidharma should all be abandoned, because the Sutra masters and others who abide in one sect have controversies with each other. The other refers to other sects that abide in one sect. It should be understood that this refutes the statement that all the successive stages of the guru lineage are the words of the Buddha. It is not reasonable for those who have the unfailing key points to argue with each other. The teachings of the All-Knowing One do not harm each other. It is impossible for you that the Sutra, Dharma Abhidharma, and Vinaya become one with each other. In this regard, how can it be said that being in accordance with the Sutra, etc. is the reason for the Buddha's words? Therefore, it is not right at all. In this way, after saying that the answer and refutation are the same, and in order to refute what others have established from the perspective of difference, the "root of teaching" etc. are said, which is close to making arguments. The teaching is the characteristic of taking and completely abandoning the benefits and non-benefits that the Bhagavan teaches. In this regard, the bhikshu is the root. Or, after eliminating the wrong interpretation of the scripture by the way, in order to refute what is said, "Seeing the truth can be liberated, what is the use of seeing emptiness," the "root of teaching" etc. are said. The teaching is that one focuses on the teachings of "this should be done, this should not be done." In this regard, the bhikshu himself is the root, because for this, the thing of the bhikshu himself is the bhikshu, and he himself is the root, because what is the root is called that, because it abides in that. If a tree with firm roots abides for a long time and experiences it, then there are trunks, branches, twigs, leaves, and fruits.

Just as it is said that land and shade, etc., have the power to relieve suffering and other needs, the Blessed One's teachings are also like a wish-fulfilling tree. Relying on the root of the Bhikshu himself, through mindfulness, perfect abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, entering into formless samadhi, being in harmony with the aspects of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the perfectly complete fruit of the Bhikshu, miraculous transformations, etc., it becomes possible to eliminate the suffering of afflictions, etc. Therefore, the Bhikshu himself is the root and is the same as the Dharma. Among them are the Bhikshu in name, the Bhikshu by claim, the Bhikshu in the state of begging, the Bhikshu who has taken full ordination through supplication and the four karmas, and the Bhikshu who has conquered afflictions. Thus, there are five types of Bhikshus. Among them, the fourth and fifth are supreme, while the others are merely expressions of dissimilarity. And these two are also contradictory to the very cause of the Dharma's abiding. Among them, the Bhikshu who has conquered afflictions is the most important, and he should be upheld here. His essence is the Bhikshu himself, and this is established by seeing the noble truths. The Bhikshu himself is the one who has conquered afflictions, the one who has abandoned afflictions, up to this point. The word ཀྱང་ (Tibetan), अपि (Sanskrit Devanagari), api (Sanskrit Romanization), also, is a particle that gathers other explanations and enters into liberation itself, because the Bhikshu himself is difficult to abide in. It is not appropriate to not see emptiness itself, and it is not reasonable to only see the truth. Therefore, seeing the truth does not liberate, so it should not be said, this is what is thought. How is it difficult to abide in? "The mind is of those with objects," etc., has been spoken. Having an object, that is, entering with manifest attachment to things, is having an object. That is the mind that has become like that. Whatever belongs to those yogis, it should be called theirs. Because of suffering.
