Napar Rinpoche said, "Those who cling to the view of emptiness are incurable." If someone asks: This is because one wants to abandon and says 'there is nothing' etc. The term 'slightly' refers to things or emptiness. 'Non-existent' means 'not existent', and the word 'also' is a conjunction because it is relative to the previous one. Therefore, if one becomes accustomed to this, abandoning that habit, later one will also abandon the habit of emptiness, it will be reversed. The thought is this: realizing emptiness is the antidote to the manifest clinging to things, therefore it becomes a method of abandonment. Having realized what arises from the method, because it is like a boat, one will also practice abandoning the method later. Just as it is said here: 'In order to abandon all conceptual thoughts, the nectar of emptiness is taught. If someone clings to it, this is also what you should abandon.' In that way, even so, if one is accustomed to thinking 'there is not even a little', one will abandon the habit of emptiness, even so, being accustomed to it, one cannot prevent the arising of conceptual thoughts in the form of non-existence. Therefore, just as planting a gourd will produce a gourd, your fault will remain the same.' If someone says this, then 'when' etc. is said. This also, after analysis, will show that it does not exist. If someone thoroughly thinks 'there is no thing', and with what does one prevent the thing, then when he thinks, like someone with cataracts seeing hair, he cannot find the nature, he cannot obtain it. At that time, the so-called 'separation from the basis' refers to when one completely thinks about this thing, because there is no other thing related to it, it is invisible, it is non-existent. How does the body shown by conceptual thought exist in front of the mind? How, after analysis, will it appear in front of the mind? The thing itself will turn into non-thing. Or it can be explained from another angle: even if one establishes through the power of emptiness, one can transform the habit of things, but because there is nothing to prevent it, then with what does one transform the manifest clinging to non-things? 'When' etc. is said. All the others are the same as before. This is...

The meaning summarized here is that clinging to things is said to be dispelled by the emptiness of all phenomena. And that emptiness itself is also dispelled after realizing emptiness. Whenever, in whatever way, a conceptualization of things arises, it will immediately be examined and dispelled. Therefore, in order to dispel the multitude of conceptualizations, the Bhagavan extensively taught the eighteen emptinesses, such as inner emptiness, in the Prajnaparamita. Emptiness is not different from things, because the nature of things themselves is emptiness. Otherwise, if emptiness were different from phenomena, phenomena would not become without things, because being without things is its nature, which has been established before. This is also said in the Prajnaparamita, and also, Subhuti! When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, he understands in this way by attending with the mind endowed with all aspects of knowledge: By the emptiness of form, form is not emptiness, but form itself is emptiness. Emptiness is form. By the emptiness of feeling, feeling is not emptiness, but feeling itself is emptiness. Emptiness is feeling. By the emptiness of perception, perception is not emptiness, but perception itself is emptiness. Emptiness is perception. By the emptiness of formation, formation is not emptiness, but formation itself is emptiness. Emptiness is formation. By the emptiness of consciousness, consciousness is not emptiness, but consciousness itself is emptiness. Emptiness is consciousness. Thus extensively spoken. And also: Whatever arises dependently, You say is emptiness. There is no object with self-nature, You say like a lion's roar, Unparalleled. Thus it is said. Therefore, emptiness is not different from phenomena. Therefore, one should not cling to emptiness either. Thus, in order to show that all conceptualizations are extinguished and the individual is liberated from all obscurations, it is said, "When there is a thing," etc., that is, when a thing exists ultimately.
