It is said, "By means of mantras, one can cause others to decline," and so on. The term 'mantras' and so on refers to medicines and so on, because the arising of mind has no power. Because it does not act, illusion does not give rise to mind, and the nature of illusion does not become mind. For example, for those who are ignorant, illusionists, through the power of well-prepared mantras and so on, can create the appearance of elephants and so on, but it is not actually so. The idea that there is mind is the thought of others. The answer to this is that it is said, "various causes and conditions," and so on. The word "also" means that it must be grasped or arranged in another order. Illusion is diverse, it is of various forms. Moreover, it arises from various causes and conditions, that is, whatever arises and grows from various causes and conditions should be called that. The intention is this: even if the words 'illusion' and 'illusion' are the same, their causes are not the same. Even if it is the nature of illusion, it is the nature of various fruits. Because one fruit arises from one cause, the words for the fruits are the same, therefore it is not reasonable to assume that it is the same in all cases. However, even if the words are the same, the nature of the power of some things is different. To illustrate this, it is said, "By one cause," and so on. The power of one cause to see some things, that is, by all causes, it is impossible for all fruits to have power. It is said, "seen in some places," it does not mean seen or desired anywhere, that is, at some time or in some place. Therefore, some illusions are the nature of being accomplished by the power of mantras and so on, and some are the great nature that has existed since beginningless samsara, arising from ignorance and entering. Therefore, not all things have the power of mantras and so on. All of this follows worldly conventions, arising in dependence on the reality of conventional things transformed by conceptual thought, but it is not ultimate truth. In the state of ultimate truth, birth and

Because there is no examination of cessation, arising, disintegration, cause and effect, things and non-things, etc., all dharmas are inherently reversed. If this is unbearable, and again it is said to become a fault, that is, if it is ultimate reality, etc. Nirvana is empty in nature, so it is free from birth and death, etc. In the ultimate sense, it is the ultimate truth, because in nature, nirvana is originally peaceful. If the conventional is the conventional truth, it is only because of examination. Becoming samsara is to have birth, old age, death, etc. At that time, it becomes a great contradiction, saying that the Buddha also becomes samsara. If you promise this, because you are free from all obstacles, the Buddha of Nirvana also becomes samsara, becoming a part with birth, etc. Because of that, what does that cause do with the practice of Bodhi? For the sake of Bodhi, that is, to practice for the sake of the Buddha, what does it do to give hands, feet, heads, etc. as the nature of many sufferings that lead the way? There is no use at all, because there is no nature to be said. Moreover, in order to reverse all the dharmas of samsara, one relies on the accumulation of all merits to attain Buddhahood, so one truly relies on it, even so, if the dharmas of samsara do not reverse, then what is the use of doing it? That's what I thought. This is also to dispel the idea that as long as the conditions are gathered, etc., in order to show the difference again. It is said that the continuity of conditions is not interrupted, etc. Conditions, that is, the continuity of causes is not interrupted or diminished. Why? It is an illusion, not some kind of samsara. Moreover, the word "also" is جمع, it will not be cut off or reversed. Conditions, that is, the continuity of causes is cut off, so it reverses, so the conventional is also constant, and there is no possibility of samsara in name. The continuity of conditions is also cut off because of familiarizing oneself with Suchness, and ignorance, etc. gradually become contradictory.

English

It should be understood in this way. How is it? As it is said in the Salu Ljangpa Sutra: The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya said to the venerable Shariputra: The Bhagavan, the Lord of Dharma, the All-Knowing One, said this: Monks, whoever sees dependent origination sees the Dharma. Whoever sees the Dharma sees the Buddha. So, what is dependent origination? For example, ignorance conditions actions, actions condition consciousness, consciousness conditions name and form, name and form condition the six sense sources, the six sense sources condition contact, contact conditions feeling, feeling conditions craving, craving conditions grasping, grasping conditions becoming, becoming conditions birth, birth conditions aging, death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, displeasure, and agitation. Thus, this great mass of suffering arises. When ignorance ceases, actions cease, and so on, until this great mass of suffering ceases. This is called dependent origination. As before, this is dependent origination, that is, seeing with the nature of permanence, lifelessness, separation from life, suchness, non-error, unborn, unmanifested, unmade, unconditioned, unobstructed, without object, peaceful, fearless, unseizable, and non-pacified, one sees all dharmas. Whoever sees in this way with permanence and lifelessness up to the nature of non-pacification, sees the Buddha as the unsurpassed Dharmakaya, as before. So, what is ignorance? It is considering these six elements themselves as one, considering them as a whole, considering them as permanent, considering them as stable, considering them as lasting, considering them as pleasurable, considering them as self, considering them as sentient beings, considering them as life, considering them as birth.
