The difference will be shown. Thus, in order to state what arises incidentally and to show it by concluding the present context, therefore, "therefore" etc. are stated. Because in the order of statement, there is not the slightest difference between self and others, therefore. The so-called "when young" means that even from the slightest unpleasantness that is the cause of suffering, one should protect and hide oneself. If that is the case, then the accomplishment of equality between self and others cannot be practiced. Therefore, the exchange of self and others is even more impossible. So, how should this be practiced? "By habituation" etc. are stated. Thus, in the order of statement, here, one should not generate the thought that it is difficult for things to become the object of habituation. Because for others, that is, for those who are attached to the body as drops of semen and blood related to parents, through habituation they will know "this is me" and enter through teaching. Or, there is another reason for knowing "this is me", why is it unreasonable here? "Even if things do not exist" etc. are stated. Even if there is no reason for things like self, one cultivates in this way merely through habituation, so it will definitely be so for others as well. "That is just so" etc. are stated. Why not hold on to self, but it is possible to hold on to it, and it is extremely capable? Because its nature is to establish one's own body. Otherwise, it will not be the same as it. Thus, the exchange of self and others does not have to be accomplished through command. Thus, after showing the equality of self and others, wanting to show the exchange of self and others, therefore, "one's own self with faults" etc. are stated. Those who have realization, after seeing the reasons for accepting and rejecting merits and faults in themselves and others, should cultivate and habituate the things that should be accepted and rejected. Completely abandoning one's own body is to transform oneself into others. The so-called "taking others" is to regard others as oneself. Thus, this will show another method of exchanging self and others. If that is the case, for many different kinds of sentient beings,

If one is able to practice exchanging self and others separately in that way, as it is said, "How are hands, etc.?" If hands, etc., are different, then the part that clings to the body will treat "who" as a whole. Similarly, sentient beings will cling to everything as one whole. Why don't they cling to sentient beings as one whole? Do not have difficult thoughts about exchanging self and others, because it is obtained through habit. In order to show this, it is said, "How is there no self?" etc. The meaning has already been explained. After exchanging self and others, one will not have the desire for the fruit in the next world. If you ask what it is like, it is like eating food yourself and saying, "May this generosity make me and sentient beings enjoy perfect abundance," without expecting the fruit. Similarly, it is like that. If that is the case, this is shown as the state of habit. In order to get used to reversing, one must adjust one's own mind. Therefore, it is said, "Therefore," etc. Desire is the suffering that arises in order to obtain the desired object, whether it is a mental phenomenon or a physical suffering, it is like an infectious disease. Sorrow is the suffering caused by separation from suffering, etc. The word "etc." includes other physical and mental sufferings. In order to show this through metaphor, it is said, "Therefore, Protector," etc. Therefore, the Blessed One, the noble Avalokiteśvara, also blessed his own name, the noble Avalokiteśvara, who possesses the blessing of his own name. The fear of the retinue is fear, which is entering after contracting the mind, until losing courage. Sentient beings are worldly people, who are afraid of the world or are frightened by it. In order to eliminate it, it means to abandon it. If some sentient beings hold my name with joy, then all their sufferings will not arise in any way, and even the fear and fright of the retinue will not arise. In this way, he blessed them. There are other difficulties.
