Therefore, it should be grasped, as it will become a great fruit. As it is said in the Sutra of Advice to the Holy King: "Great King, you have many things to do, many things to accomplish, and you cannot train in the perfection of generosity, in all aspects of everything, up to the perfection of wisdom. Therefore, Great King, whether you desire, have faith, seek, or aspire to perfect enlightenment, whether you are walking, standing, sitting, lying down, awake, eating, or drinking, always remember and keep in mind, and meditate. Gather, pour, and knead together all the roots of virtue of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Holy Hearers, Solitary Realizers, all ordinary beings, and my past, future, and present, and rejoice. Rejoice with the supreme rejoicing. By rejoicing, also make offerings to all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Holy Hearers, and Solitary Realizers. After making offerings, also share it with all sentient beings. Then, in order for all sentient beings to attain omniscience and to perfect all the Buddha's teachings, just like in one day, also dedicate everything in the three times to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Great King, if you engage in this way, you can both be a king and not neglect the affairs of the king, and the accumulation of enlightenment will also be perfected." And so on. Then it says: "Great King, you, by the ripening of the karma of the roots of virtue of the mind of perfect enlightenment, are born many times in the realm of the gods, and many times in the realm of humans. Even when you are born in all the realms of gods and humans, even if you become powerful, still..." and so on, it is extensively taught. Therefore, do not despise the mind of enlightenment that is separate from action, as it also generates endless happiness of samsara. Any mind of enlightenment that makes practice its essence is extremely...

Furthermore, it shows that it becomes a great result. As it is said, "How to enter," and so on. For example, the merit of the entering mind itself is constantly and uninterruptedly producing virtue, like entering, but this is not the case. In order to prove that this is the continuous merit itself with two verses, it is said, "From where," and so on. The so-called "From where to start" means from where to start. The so-called "Where is the end," that is, there is no end to just this, it is infinite, it is the sentient realm covered by the space realm. The so-called "For complete liberation" means for the sake of complete liberation, it is the reason for making all suffering peaceful. The so-called "The mind has been taken correctly" means that the perfect Bodhi mind has been truly taken and entered. How to enter? With the mind of non-retrogression, that is, with the mind of entering without retreating. The so-called "Starting from there" means starting from the very beginning. The so-called "Sleep or not" means that the mind is suppressed by sleep. The so-called "negligence" is scattered, and the mind is also related to the two. This is only a brief representation, and it should be viewed in the states of walking, standing, sitting, lying, eating, fainting, and so on. The so-called "many" means that in each moment, the flow of various merits continues uninterruptedly, and the power of constant merit arises fiercely, equal to the void, that is, each moment is like the amount of void. Therefore, Bodhicitta should become the essence of practice. In the "Arya Manjushri Root Tantra", it says: "Therefore, young man, you should study with practice as the essence, why? Young man, with practice as the essence, it is not difficult to obtain the supreme and perfect enlightenment." In order to show that the continuous merit here is what the Blessed One said, it is said, "This is," and so on. This is immeasurable merit, the so-called "You" means me. The Tathagata, the Blessed One, said, that is, it has been revealed.

That is from the Sutra named "Asked by Brave", that is, the Sutra named "Brave Asked". How is it? It is reasonable, it is with reason. For whose sake? For the sake of sentient beings with inferior faith, inferior refers to the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas' vehicle. Faith is belief or desire. Whichever sentient being has it, it is called that, for that purpose, because of this, so it means to abandon for that purpose. Like this, people who are afraid of uncertain types, accumulating very many collections for a long time, etc., turn away from the Great Vehicle, and in a very short time, with very little accumulation of merit, generate faith in the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas' vehicle. To prevent this, the Bhagavan spoke the reasonable Dharma. In order to show that reasonable Dharma through two verses, he spoke "Sentient beings" etc. If someone thinks that with mantras or medicine, only a few people's head diseases can be eliminated, then this person with good intentions should be regarded as practicing well and having immeasurable merits. What need is there to mention wanting to eliminate the immeasurable suffering of each sentient being in the cycle of existence? Furthermore, since wanting to eliminate the diseases of all sentient beings and make them possess all the merits, how could immeasurable merits not arise? Combine by changing the part of speech, that is, constantly, the power of merit is as vast as the sky, what need is there to say that it will arise quickly? Therefore, just as the Buddha himself needs to be accomplished through numerous accumulations, similarly, the accumulation in each moment is also very vast, so due to the particularity of the cause, it is a great gain to be found in this Great Vehicle. Therefore, it will be shown, do not turn back from this because of fearing what is not a place of fear. This passage is: By the power of the Bodhicitta, it eliminates past sins, accumulates the ocean of merit, transcends the realm of Hearers, and advances quickly. It will be explained like this. Therefore, those who strive for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, even gods and others will praise them for having uncommon merits.
