, and also desires other unclean vessels out of greed. If you say you like this flesh and want to touch and see it, then how would you want flesh that is mindless in nature? The mind that desires cannot touch and see, and what can touch and see is not consciousness, so what is the use of meaningless embraces? It is not surprising not to understand the unclean nature of another's body, but it is surprising not to realize that oneself is also unclean. Having abandoned the tender lotus opened by cloudless sunlight, why be fond of an unclean box with a mind attached to impurity? If you do not want to touch the ground stained by impurity, then how do you want to touch the body that arose from it? If you are not attached to impurity, since it arose from an impure field and was born from its seed, why do you embrace others? You do not even want a tiny unclean worm born from impurity, yet you desire a body with the nature of many impurities, and things born from impurity. Not only do you not despise your own impurity, but you also greedily desire other unclean vessels. Pleasing foods such as camphor, or rice, vegetables, etc., when put in the mouth and then spat out and discarded, even the ground becomes unclean and defiled. If you still doubt such obvious impurity, then look at the corpses abandoned in the charnel grounds, other impurities. If the skin is peeled open, great fear will arise, knowing this, how can joy arise from it? The fragrance applied to the body is sandalwood, etc., and not others. Why be attached to others because of their scent? If the nature is foul-smelling, wouldn't it be better not to be attached to it? Why do worldly people pointlessly burn corpses and apply fragrance to them? Or rather, what use is fragrant sandalwood to this body? Why be attached to others because of their scent? If the hair and nails are long, the teeth are yellow, and there is the smell of odor and mud, and the nature of the body is nakedly terrifying, then why strive to adorn it as if it were a weapon that harms oneself? I am foolish.

With the effort of greed, Madness stirs up this land everywhere. Just seeing a pile of bones, If you feel disgusted in the tomb, Would you like the city's tomb Filled with moving bones? That which has become impure like that, Cannot be obtained without cost. Accomplishing that matter will make the flesh thin, And lead to harm such as hells. Because children cannot increase wealth, What good is this when they grow up? If you prolong life with wealth and so on, What can desire do when you are old? Some evil greedy people, Are completely exhausted by work all day long, Returning home, a tired body, Lies down like a corpse. Some travel far and suffer, Enduring pain for a long time, Desiring wives and children, but the wives and children, I'm afraid they will never be seen. Thinking they are beneficial but completely ignorant, Even selling their own goals, Without obtaining it, meaninglessly, Driven by the wind of other people's work. Some sell their own bodies, Powerlessly driven by others, Even if the wives have children, They will constantly appear under the trees in temples. Fools deceived by desire, Wishing to survive, saying they will survive, Risking their lives to enter the battlefield, Going to be slaves for profit. Some greedy people are even dismembered, Some are erected on bright treetops, Some are pierced by short spears, Some are also seen being burned. Through the suffering of accumulating, guarding, and losing, Know that wealth is an endless ruin. Those who are distracted by attachment to wealth, Have no time to be liberated from the suffering of samsara. For the greedy, like that, There are many faults and little benefit, Like the livestock pulling a cart, Eating very little grass. For the sake of the meager benefit That livestock can also accomplish without being scarce, This leisure and fortune that is difficult to obtain, Is destroyed by those tormented by labor. Desire will surely perish, And is the cause of falling into hells and so on, Because it is not great, so always, Whatever tiring labor arises, If with just a tiny fraction of that, The state of Buddhahood can be achieved, Compared to the greedy practicing Bodhi, The suffering is greater but there is no Bodhi. If you contemplate the suffering of hells and so on, For desires, like swords, Poison, fire, and cliffs,
