It means eyes with tears of joy. 'That' means having great joy. 'Perfect Buddha's Wisdom' means the wisdom of the perfect Buddha, all obscurations purified, which is the meaning of enlightenment. 'Seed' means its cause. Therefore, through the three external signs, it can be known that one is particularly devoted to emptiness. 'That' means showing reality as it is. 'Following' means the cause of showing reality as it is. 'Source of Qualities' means discipline and so on. 'For the sake of not declining' means the view of emptiness, for the sake of not declining. 'Falling into evil destinies due to broken discipline' means that broken discipline itself is the cause of going to evil destinies, just as it says, 'Giving purifies enjoyment, even in evil destinies.' The words food, medicine, and Dharma robes, etc., should include bedding and so on. 'Completely seized by compassion' means that it has been explained by 'Love is indeed the seed of the field of abundant harvest of the victors,' and so on. 'Causing to obtain an ugly appearance' is because it is said, 'An ugly appearance is only due to this.' 'Because of that' means because of the ugly appearance. 'Immeasurable fruits, without interruption of kinds' means that the giving of alms, etc., dedicated to becoming a Buddha will not be exhausted. Why dedicate it to enlightenment? Because it is said, 'Therefore, in order to liberate beings,' meaning that after becoming a Buddha, one can liberate beings. Now, in order to explain the difference in the result of showing reality as it is, 'Thus' and so on are said. 'Having accumulated a collection of merit for a long time without interruption, not being taken away by demons' means because of practicing with accumulation and devotion. 'In a profound and vast way' means the Mahayana, thus, giving and so on are vast meanings, and it shows the meaning of accomplishment with emptiness as its essence. 'Gradually' means the order of the grounds of practicing with accumulation and devotion. Path

This is the nature that reveals emptiness. Here, emptiness refers to the absence of self in individuals and the absence of self in phenomena. It is shown here to be proven by scripture and reasoning, so in order to show proof by scripture, "phenomena" and so on are mentioned. "As it is" means emptiness. "The path is completely perfected on the fifth ground" means that the path with the characteristics of the perfection of meditation that enters the sixth ground is completely perfected. The meaning of this is that wisdom is greatly increased on the sixth ground, and this is also due to the power of meditation. As it is said in the sutras, "The mind abides equally, and knows thoroughly as it is." "The equality of phenomena" means that phenomena, that is, aggregates, elements, and sense bases, are of the nature of being without characteristics, and so on, so it is equality. "Signlessness and equality" means that the element of phenomena, which is free from the conceptualization of complete imputation and is without elaboration, is signless, because it is not the object of all discriminating consciousness. Therefore, all phenomena are said to be signless. Therefore, all phenomena are of the nature of perfect accomplishment, so it is signlessness and equality. "Absence of characteristics and equality" means that the nature of what is to be said and what is said, which is completely imputed, and the phenomena with the aspect of grasping and being grasped, are all completely non-existent, so because of the characteristic of complete imputation, it is without characteristics, so it is absence of characteristics and equality. "Unborn" means that the nature of the ultimate reality, which is perfectly accomplished, is unborn by its own nature, so it is unborn and equality. Because it itself is not produced by causes and conditions, it is unborn and equality. The very nature of emptiness itself, free from the defilements of afflictions, all phenomena are naturally liberated, so it is solitary and equality. "Primordially pure" means that the nature of perfect accomplishment itself, because there was no birth before, so ultimately all phenomena
