said, because sudden afflictions make it impure. What kind of merit is it? It is mentioned as being as white as an autumn star, just as the stars are white when there are no clouds in autumn, this merit is also white because it is free from the impurity of non-virtue. The name of the mind is said to be like a jewel of the day, the mind is whatever discriminates between existence and non-existence. That itself is night, because the suchness of things is not fully understood. In order to abandon that, it is like a jewel of the day, like the sun. Because this merit is free from discrimination. Likewise, In this very life, it is that. Thus it was said. The so-called profound is because it shows emptiness. The so-called vast is because it shows the five, such as giving. Devoted to the supreme vehicle. It means that he has great joy in the Mahayana. Having unseizable wisdom and compassion means that wisdom and compassion cannot be overwhelmed by opposing forces. By milking milk from a painted cow, he prevents attachment to the truth, which means that by milking milk from a painted cow, he prevents attachment to the objects of others, that is what he does. The commentary on the Madhyamakavatara is an explanation of the commentary on the state of Buddhahood. Born in the land of Ngari (Western Tibet), famous to all for his virtuous qualities, full of compassion. He spreads wealth to all the poor, his discipline is undiminished and not arrogant. Never for a moment has anger arisen in his mind. Through diligence, endless faults can be destroyed, and the accumulation of merits can be increased. Numerous distractions cannot steal his mind from samadhi. He has the power to wash away all impurities with the water of perfect wisdom. With skillful means, he leads limitless sentient beings who are making their way into the river of existence, guiding them with the hands of Dharma. Because he has practiced in many lifetimes, his aspirations have reached their ultimate end. Because he is accustomed to the practice of giving and so on, his powers also increase. Numerous treatises of the mind, skillful in conduct, the Dharma of
