It is said that because it is not inverted, the words not made by a person are considered valid. However, this is not reasonable. Why? Because the inversion of words, and the person who is the basis of truth, who has virtues and faults, is inverted, then it should become faultless, because there is no other different aspect for truth and falsehood. In addition, since it is seen that sounds arise from places and actions such as the throat, how can it become not made by a person? If it is said that places and actions, etc., make the sound manifest, but do not produce the sound, then this is also unreasonable. If it manifests, then is the manifestation itself a special nature of the sounds, or is the sound without obscuration, or does it produce perception? Among them, the sound becoming a special nature is not, because it is permanent. It is also free from obscuration, because it is permanent, because obscuration has no effect on the sound at all. It is also not perception, because it is permanent, because the sounds are always able to produce perception. Therefore, manifestation is unreasonable. Therefore, since being not made by a person itself is not established, then how is scripture valid? The answer to this is, just as worldly words are valid, so is scripture. Thus, in the world, that which has connection and conforming means, states the meaning of a person, and is not deceptive, is considered valid. Among them, connection refers to any situation where the parts of speech and that which becomes the parts, through establishing, refuting, or remaining neutral, understand one meaning. Regarding this, unconnected words are not valid, such as "ten apples, three winnowing baskets," etc., these are not summarized into one meaning, because they are not related to each other. Conforming means refers to that which is able to establish the means of accomplishing the result, and is called conforming means. Such words are acknowledged as valid by worldly people, but not others, such as the jewel on the crest placed to pacify poison.

It is like the treatise of Rāhula. Even if it is so, if it is not to express the meaning of a person, then it is not valid cognition, for example, like the treatise on examining the teeth of a crow. If, after thinking and discriminating about these in this way, it is not deceptive, then it is valid cognition, otherwise it is not, for example, like direct perception, inference, and meanings obstructed by scripture. What is meant by "non-deceptive"? It should be said that here there are three objects: direct perception, the hidden, and the extremely hidden. Among these, for those things that are considered direct perception in the treatises, the very fact that they have become objects of direct perception is not obstructed by direct perception, which is non-deceptive, for example, like blue and so on. Similarly, for those things that are considered not to be direct perception and so on, the very fact that they are established as not being direct perception is not obstructed by direct perception. Thus, whatever is shown to be the direct perception of another is not direct perception in the Buddhist tenets. If these are examined, they are only not direct perception, for example, like the nature of happiness residing in sound and so on. Because only the inner self experiences happiness and suffering, which are of the nature of joy and pain, and not the happiness and suffering of sound and so on. This is said from the point of view of the Samkhya school. From the point of view of the Vaisheshika school, it is like substance and so on not being direct perception. Thus, they acknowledge parts composed of parts that are different from the parts of these, and actions such as lifting, placing, going, coming, and accomplishing, and therefore consider substance to be a direct perception different from substance, and consider existence and other universals to be direct perceptions different from substance. These are not direct perception, because for a person, there is no other substance and so on that is direct perception that is different from form and so on, because what is different from them is not observed. Therefore, for things that are seen, one should know non-deceptiveness. Similarly, inference
