It is called "abandoning" because it abandons suffering. If one focuses in that way, it is completely seeking meditation, so focusing on it is called complete transformation. As before, it refers to being used with "dwelling in solitude," and so on. Called "power of faith," and so on, correctly connected with the feet of miraculous power, seeing the signs, and generating certainty about the increasingly superior qualities, thereby generating faith, that is faith. It itself is power, because it can control the attainment of supramundane Dharma. Similarly applicable to others. The word "etc." can be used with "dwelling in cessation," and so on. It itself is purity, referring to faith, and so on. Called "overcoming adverse factors," it refers to how it cannot be destroyed by adverse factors such as demons, and the faculties increase, therefore it cannot be seized by force. For example, that basis is right mindfulness, etc., of which discriminating Dharma, diligence, and joy are the aspects of insight. Pliancy, samadhi, and equanimity are the aspects of calm abiding, while mindfulness is an aspect of both. The Noble Eightfold Path refers to, for example, by attaining them and seeing them in oneself, thereby seeing that the afflictions to be abandoned have been abandoned, and in order to abandon the afflictions to be abandoned through practice, one practices the three aggregates and the Noble Eightfold Path. Among them, right view, right thought, and right effort are the aggregate of wisdom. Right speech, right action, and right livelihood are the aggregate of ethics. Right mindfulness and right concentration are the aggregate of concentration. Regarding "complete exhaustion related to the view of self," the "self" refers to "I" and "mine." Therefore, the view of self explains the view of the perishable aggregate. Related to it means related to the mind. Complete exhaustion refers to the co-emergent mind corresponding to the view of the perishable aggregate. The meaning of this is

So, this means that from the great view of the co-emergent aggregates, etc., to the abandonment of the four aspects of the desire realm up to the middle great, it means completely abandoning the view of self. The explanation of 'the view of the aggregates going first' is from 'I' to 'person'. Clinging to aggregates, realms, and sources is the explanation of the view of self. Among them, because one goes in all times in all actions, therefore it is 'I'. Because one experiences suffering in those various actions, therefore it is 'sentient being'. Because of living, it is 'life'. Because one enjoys the fruits of karma, and because of moving, it is 'nourishment'. Because one does good and non-good, etc., therefore it is 'person'. Because one repeatedly takes in those various things, therefore it is 'person'. Because of the meaning of abandonment, it is 'aggregate'. Because of the meaning of lineage, it is 'realm'. Because it is the door of mind and mental factors, it is 'source'. 'Clinging' means discriminating with attachment to them. 'Completely taking' means birth. 'Moving' means the discrimination of accomplishing. 'Separated' means the discrimination of negation. 'Discriminating' means coarse discrimination. 'Distinguishing' means subtle discriminations. 'Holding firmly' means extreme clinging. 'Holding as mine' means clinging as mine. The discrimination of bondage means the discrimination that is in accordance with desire, etc. 'What are the places of support' means that those discriminations are the support of other discriminations. 'Being separated from all of them' means that all the great great aspects are abandoned up to the middle great aspect. The commentary on the fourth chapter of Entering the Middle Way is completed. In order to show the etymology of the first difficult-to-tame ground of the fifth generation of mind, now, speaking of the fifth generation of mind, etc., is easy to understand. 'Meditation is superior' means the other shore of meditation.

It is superior because the intermediate words are not manifest. That is also because it has reached the extreme of meditation. Regarding those named Wise Intelligence and so on, Wise Intelligence refers to the Bodhisattvas. Truth refers to the Four Noble Truths. The subtle nature of those is Suchness. Obtaining great skill in its realization is through the words 'knowing thoroughly as it is, by abiding equally in mind.' Regarding this, the Four Noble Truths have already been explained. In order to show the refutation by others, it is said, 'if' and so on. 'Knower of the World' means the Blessed One Buddha, because he knows the nature of the world as it is. 'Without hearing from others' means possessing self-arisen wisdom. The words 'there is no third truth' directly show the meaning of the refutation. In order to show that it is not contradictory to the intention of Master Nagarjuna, it is said, 'also from the Madhyamaka' and so on. Here, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, teach the Dharma by relying on the two truths. What are the two truths? The conventional truth of the world and the ultimate truth. Among them, whatever is said to be the aggregates of the world, it is said that the world relies on that, therefore what is imputed in dependence on the aggregates is called the world. Because it completely obscures, it is called conventional. Because not knowing obscures the seeing of the suchness of things, not knowing is called conventional. Or, the conventional is that which relies on each other. Or, conventional is a term, a synonym for what is called worldly expression. That is, worldly expressions that are to be expressed and that express, and that have the characteristics of knowledge and objects of knowledge, are conventional in the world. If it is said that the world is conventional, then is there a conventional that is not worldly? No, because it is only a following statement about things that exist as they are, so such a permanent thing does not occur here. Or, faculties that are nearly destroyed by cataracts and jaundice, and so on.
