The state called "ī" is the supreme state of worldly dharma. Its nature is that it is extremely devoted to Suchness, and therefore, it accomplishes an appearance of wisdom that does not manifest attachment to things and is not distracted. It is called abiding immediately upon obtaining the first bhumi because the supreme state of dharma is encompassed by the uninterrupted path of the first bhumi. This is called the ground where the Bodhisattva's bodhicitta has not arisen, that is, where the forbearance of knowing the dharma of suffering, etc., has not arisen. Therefore, since it is not the fruit of stream-enterer, etc., the Bodhisattva also transforms in the same way. It is reasonable to say so. In order to explain it more extensively, "practicing with faith," etc., is mentioned. "Also abiding in that moment of practicing with faith" means abiding in the great moment of great faith of the supreme state of dharma. In order to illustrate this, "Son of good family, for example," etc., is mentioned. "Having surpassed the color of humans" means that he possesses the thirty-two major marks and has a golden color. "Not having obtained the color of the gods" means that he does not possess the color of the gods. "Worldly people, Śrāvakas, and Pratyekabuddhas" refers to the worldly grounds of the first dhyana, etc., the eight Śrāvaka grounds previously mentioned, and the grounds of the Pratyekabuddhas where wisdom arises without apprehending what is apprehended. "Completely surpassed" means that these are suppressed and abide by bodhicitta and compassion, etc., which is a concluding statement. "Not having obtained the ground of the ultimate Bodhisattva" means that whoever sees the Suchness of all dharmas, that is the ground of the ultimate Bodhisattva, which should be spoken of as the forbearance of knowing the dharma of suffering. This extensively explains that it is not abiding in the fruit of stream-enterer in the supreme state of dharma. Thus, after explaining the characteristics of the first generation of mind encompassed by the first bhumi, in order to explain the qualities, it is said again, "When at what time."

Etc. have been mentioned. The term "when" refers to the stage of forbearance in knowing the Dharma of suffering. The term "from then on" refers to starting from the arising of the first mind that has the nature of forbearance in knowing the Dharma of suffering. The term "that" refers to the attainment of wisdom. The term "the state of having attained that" refers to having attained the wisdom that directly realizes the ultimate truth. The term "Bodhisattva" refers to the emptiness to be realized by the word "Bodhi". The term "Sattva" refers to the one who has that as its object. Because by attaining the wisdom of ultimate truth, it focuses on emptiness. In order to explain it through commentary, it is stated that "obtaining that mind, namely," etc. The term "obtaining that mind, namely," refers to obtaining that mind of ultimate truth. The term "in the stage of transcending the ground of ordinary beings" refers to the stage of transcending the ground of practice with aspiration. The term "not in another way" means that it cannot be expressed by the name of an ordinary person. The term "at that time" refers to the time of obtaining the first Bodhicitta. The term "that" refers to obtaining the first Bodhicitta. The term "is a noble one" is because it is far away from the ground of ordinary beings. In order to clarify that at the stage of obtaining the first Bodhicitta, it should only be expressed by the name of Bodhisattva, and to reveal the source of the Prajnaparamita Sutra, it is stated that "as it is said," etc. The term "subsequent realization Bodhisattva" refers to the one who has the thought of realizing that all dharmas are without self-nature. The term "word" refers to the name. In order to clearly explain this, it is stated that "by whom," etc. The term "by whom" refers to the Bodhisattva. The term "all dharmas" refers to conditioned and unconditioned dharmas. The term "subsequently realizes" means knowing. Because ordinary beings also know all dharmas, the question "how does one know" is stated. The answer is, it is stated that "unborn," etc. If it is said that although it does not arise from each cause individually, it arises from a collection, then it is stated that "truly born," that is, it does not arise from the collection of causes and conditions. How is it not born?

The Acharya will explain it in the sixth chapter. Because it does not truly arise, it is said "inverted" etc. Explaining it, it says "those" etc. Children are foolish and do not possess hearing. Ordinary beings are those who have not seen the truth. Just as children and ordinary beings examine the two truths of all dharmas, because it is not like that, it is the meaning of being inverted. "Not obtained like that" means that just as children and ordinary beings obtain the truth, it is not like that. Therefore, it is called a Bodhisattva, meaning that one who completely knows the nature of all dharmas that have not arisen at all is called a Bodhisattva. All dharmas are emptiness, called Bodhi, and wondering why becoming real things is not Bodhi? It says "Why is that?", meaning, why is Bodhi, which has the nature of emptiness? The answer to this is, Bodhi It says "called" etc. Non-discrimination is not becoming the object of discrimination. Non-establishment is not being moved by discrimination. Having no object is because it does not become the object of discriminating consciousness. In order to widely show that there is no attainment, it says "with extreme diligence" etc. "Suppressing with extreme diligence" is a Tibetan expression. The Tathagata has not attained Bodhi, this is to show what is to be established. "Because all dharmas have not been attained" is the reason. Here, the distinctive nature of real things, attaining Bodhi itself is what is to be established, and not attaining all dharmas is established as a common reason. In order to establish the three, such as non-discrimination, it says "all dharmas" etc. If everything is with discrimination, and is cognized by consciousness separated from discrimination, then at that time, Bodhi, which becomes the object of discrimination, and is established by discrimination, and becomes the object of non-discriminating consciousness, will be established, because there are none of those, so that is also not there.
