Because there is no self-nature of me, it is established as the fourth ground in terms of not fully understanding my selflessness. Therefore, on this ground, the perfection of diligence is extremely increased, because the Dharma Realm is realized with non-conceptual wisdom, so in Dharma and existence, etc., one is especially diligent for the sake of realizing that Dharma Realm. Similarly, the Dharma nature of the continuums of all Buddhas of the past, future, and present, and the Dharma nature of my continuum, seeing that there is no difference between each other, is equality, and from the perspective of fully understanding that the Dharma Realm has no different causes, it is established as the fifth ground. Therefore, on this ground, the perfection of meditation is extremely increased, because like other Bodhisattvas, one cultivates many aspects of truth. Similarly, because the nature of the Dharma Realm is dependent origination, and there are temporary defilements, it is thought that the nature of the Dharma Realm will not become a defiled nature, and because the nature is pure, it will not become impure, from the perspective of fully understanding such a Dharma Realm, it is established as the sixth ground. Therefore, on this ground, the perfection of wisdom is extremely increased, because one realizes the profound Dharma Realm that has no defilements and no purity. Similarly, whoever enters the Dharma Realm with the characteristics of the Dharma such as the Sutra Pitaka, and applies those characteristics in an undesirable way, and the wisdom gained from it, up to the sixth ground, will appear as differences. On the seventh ground, with the wisdom of the aspect of the oneness of all characteristics, all Dharmas, and the Dharma Realm, one realizes the Dharma Realm without characteristics, so from the perspective of understanding that the Dharma Realm has no different aspects, it is established as the seventh ground. Therefore, on this ground, the perfection of means is extremely increased, because although one realizes that all characteristics and the Dharma Realm are not different, it does not hinder the activities done with characteristics. Therefore, the seventh ground is called the path of no characteristics.

O! Similarly, since the Dharmadhatu is naturally completely pure, there is no difference between the states of being with defilements and without defilements. Therefore, in the state of affliction of all the grounds, no Dharma decreases, and in the state of complete purification, no Dharma increases. Like this, from the aspect of fully understanding that the Dharmadhatu has no decrease and no increase, the eighth ground is established. Moreover, it is to be known that this becomes the basis of two of the four powers. The four powers are the power of non-conceptualization, the power of completely pure fields, the power of wisdom, and the power of action. Among these, the power of non-conceptualization is to be known as not engaging in all characteristics without effort in the Dharmadhatu. On the seventh ground, there is also effort in not engaging in characteristics, but here there is not, which is the difference. The power of completely pure fields is to be known as obtaining the ability to show Buddhafields and retinues as desired through the power of the Dharmadhatu. Fully knowing that the basis of the two powers is the Dharmadhatu is only on the eighth ground. Therefore, on that ground, the perfection of aspiration becomes extremely superior, because it is the power of non-conceptualization and completely pure fields, so it is continuously engaging in virtue. Similarly, having obtained individual correct knowledge, from the aspect of fully understanding that the Dharmadhatu is the basis of the power of wisdom, the ninth ground is established. What was previously said on the tenth ground as being simultaneous with individual correct knowledge is because of obtaining inexhaustible individual correct knowledge. Therefore, on that ground, the perfection of power becomes extremely superior, because it has special wisdom power. Similarly, from the aspect of fully understanding that the Dharmadhatu is the basis of the power of action, the tenth ground is established. Among these, the power of action is what is obtained as the power of action of the Tathagata. Therefore, on that ground, the perfection of wisdom becomes extremely superior, because of the difference of completely maturing beings with the enjoyment of Dharma.
