It makes the ground level, completely purifies the obscurations of afflictions, completely purifies the obscurations of near afflictions, and completely purifies the obscurations of special qualities. The union with the limbs of the path has been explained. The path of meditation has been explained. In the Buddha-field, depending on the inclinations of the beings to be tamed, with the nature of the two mind-generations, the fundamental and the subsequent, with the seventy-two aspects of the path, the seventy-two afflictions will be completely abandoned. Only in this, having completely abandoned the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, the Buddha calls the one with the nature of extreme purity 'All-Illuminating'. It is established as the knowledge of exhaustion and the knowledge of non-arising at that time. Among them, having completely abandoned all causes of arising, what is the knowledge of that time? Or, what is the knowledge that focuses on the cessation of the cause of arising? It is called the knowledge of exhaustion. In the future, when all suffering becomes the nature of non-arising, what is the knowledge of that time? Or, what is the knowledge that focuses on the non-arising of suffering? It is called the knowledge of non-arising. The twenty-first mind generation is united with the one-way path. Among them, the one-way path is when one obtains forbearance of the unsurpassed non-arising dharma, the minds of the nature of enlightenment of those grounds manifest individually, doing actions without difference. It is united with this. It is like the flow of a river, because it enters by its own nature. The one-way path exists from the immovable ground onwards, but here it becomes unsurpassed. The twenty-second mind generation is united with the Dharmakaya. It is like a cloud, just as a cloud makes the vessel world complete, it enters into the actions of all sentient beings. It is also united with inexhaustible skillful means. Among them, being skilled in emptiness and actions arising from compassion is skillful means, therefore it correctly shows dwelling in places such as Tushita.

Oh! Why does the Blessed One show dwelling in the Tushita heaven, and not in the form or formless realms? It is because he comes from a place where there is no leisure, and not for our sake, in order to abandon disrespect towards the Blessed One himself. Why does he not show dwelling in Paranirmita-vasavartin? Because he abandons special births and cherishes beings with compassion, in order to generate extreme reverence thinking that he dwells in the Tushita heaven. Likewise, entering the womb and so on should also be understood as the necessity of skillful means. The samadhi like a vajra and the wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising are called the ultimate path, because they are free from all evil destinies. Thus, among the twenty-two bodhicittas, the first four worldly bodhicittas are abandoned, and in order to show the first transcendental bodhicitta, "son of the Victorious One" and so on are mentioned. This verse shows five kinds of initial bodhicitta: the difference of necessity, the difference of cause, the difference of dedication, the difference of place, and the difference of number. Among them, "in order to liberate beings" shows the difference of necessity, because it is for the sake of liberating beings bound by the two obscurations included in the world realm. "Being under the control of compassion" shows the difference of cause. "Dedicated by the aspiration of Samantabhadra" shows the difference of complete dedication, the aspiration of the bodhisattva Samantabhadra is a special good wish, that is, by which it is completely transformed. "Dwelling in joy" shows the difference of place, although the Extremely Joyful Ground and the first bodhicitta are not different, it shows the difference, in order to understand the uncommonness like the head of Rahula. "This is the first" shows the difference of number, because it is the first of the transcendental bodhicittas. Because it is encompassed by the aspect of bodhicitta, it is generally said to be Bodhi
