"In order to be completely perfect" means that after understanding that dependent arising has no self-nature, the Shravakas and others can be completely perfected. If the Shravakas understand the selflessness of persons, then how do they understand that dependent arising has no self-nature? Just as the Shravakas and others understand the selflessness of phenomena, in that way, for a long time, wisdom can also surpass it, this refers to this. If it is said that dependent arising has already been taught, but the Shravakas and others do not seem to have attained the fruition, then, because the dependent arising that is taught is truthful and not inverted, the Shravakas and others can be completely perfected, why is it said like this? In order to answer this. If it is also said "some of them" and so on, it means that even if they are proficient in realizing the ultimate truth, it means that even if they are proficient in realizing the ultimate truth that has no self-nature and no reality. "They will not attain Nirvana" means that some of them did not attain it because the conditions were not complete. "The ripening of karma is certain like a fruit" means that any karma will definitely experience the result. The rest is easy to understand. The meaning here is that, just like the ripening of karma that is certain to experience the result, when seeing those who have heard and so on about the dependent arising that has been taught, even if they have not attained Nirvana, even so, in other lives, they will definitely experience the certainty of the result of that truly taught. In order to illustrate this point, Aryadeva also said so. In order to illustrate this point, he said "as it is" and so on. Aryadeva said "knowing that nature" and so on in the eighth chapter of the Four Hundred Verses. The meaning here is that, even if one strives diligently in this life to see the true nature, and does not attain Nirvana, even so, because of striving to accomplish the wisdom of the ultimate truth, one will definitely attain Nirvana in the next life, just like karma. Just like the definite karma created by ignorance, even if there is no result in this life, its result will definitely be in the next life.

It will be gradually experienced. Just as sprouts, leaves, flowers, and fruits inevitably grow as soon as a seed ceases; and just as planting a mango pit after eating the mango fruit, someone eats the ripe mango fruit and then cultivates the seed, although the fruit cannot be obtained at the moment of cultivating the seed, even so, the desired fruit can be obtained at other times. Therefore, teaching dependent origination enables the Shravakas and others to obtain the fruit. In order to show that the noble Nagarjuna also said so, "therefore" and so on are mentioned. The so-called "therefore" is because the teaching of dependent origination will definitely produce fruit. The so-called "said" is that the noble Nagarjuna said "perfect Buddha" etc. in the eighteenth chapter of the Root Wisdom, Examination of the Self and of Things. The meaning of the remaining words is easy to understand. The meaning here is that when the perfectly enlightened Buddhas no longer appear and the Shravakas have also perished, because of the lack of conditions for showing the noble path, it is impossible to obtain the nectar of suchness. However, having heard the suchness in past lives, merely by the power of the cause of hearing, even if one does not rely on the manifestation in this life, merely relying on dwelling in a secluded place, when the conditions are complete, wisdom will arise from the Pratyekabuddha without mixing with others. The so-called unmixed refers to the complete separation of body and mind. Or it refers to not seeking a virtuous friend. Because the unmixed one can realize the suchness of the Pratyekabuddhas even in times when the Buddhas have not appeared, therefore, it should be known that the practice of the nectar of suchness taught by the great King of Medicine, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas, is not meaningless. In order to explain the meaning of the word Shravaka, "to that" etc. are mentioned. The so-called "with correct instruction" refers to the Dharma that reveals the suchness of things as they are. The result of this is the characteristic of knowing exhaustion and non-arising.
