It is the examination of actions. The term "entire world" refers to the container and its contents. Now, in order to show the authority in relation to time, it is said, "Likewise," and so on. You, without discrimination, at each moment, that is, at each extremely short moment, for actions of the nature of giving, such as giving, great giving, and the most excellent giving, and so on, with various distinctions, until the end of existence, that is, until the attainment of Buddhahood, how much to show, how many atoms are there in the entire Jambudvipa, those atoms do not have that many numbers, but the number of atoms possessed by the entire Jambudvipa exceeds the number of actions. In order to show it through explanation, it is said, "Without discrimination." The term "that measure of quantity" refers to the quantity of the measure of actions. The term "this is an unparalleled excellent quality" refers to thoroughly manifesting the unparalleled quality. The term "praise" refers to the nature of truthfully declaring the qualities. Because it is distinguished by the ten powers, it is said, "Because it is distinguished by the ten powers." Because it possesses the ten powers of knowing what is and is not the case, and so on. The term "that is just a distinction" means that it is impossible to show all aspects by showing only a little of the ten powers. The term "the power of knowing what is and is not the case" refers to, relying on meditation, in all aspects, for cause and non-cause, the samadhi that manifests unobstructed wisdom, and the wisdom and mental factors that correspond to that wisdom. The term "likewise, the wisdom of karmic ripening" refers to expressing wisdom by the name of intelligence, therefore it is the power of knowing karma and ripening. This also refers to, in all aspects, for karma and ripening, the samadhi, etc., that manifests unobstructed wisdom. The term "understanding various inclinations" refers to the power of knowing various inclinations, which also refers to, in all aspects, for various inclinations, the manifestation of unobstructed wisdom.

Or whatever samadhi and so on. "The various realms are the power of knowledge," which means the power of knowing the various realms, that is, in all aspects, whatever samadhi and so on manifests the wisdom that is not attached to or obstructed by the various realms. Similarly, "Superior and inferior faculties of knowledge," which means the power of knowing the superior and inferior faculties, that is, in all aspects, whatever samadhi and so on manifests the wisdom that is not attached to or obstructed by the superior and inferior faculties. "In all actions" means the power of knowing all paths of action, that is, in all aspects, whatever samadhi and so on manifests the wisdom that is not attached to or obstructed by the paths of action. "Dhyana, liberation, samadhi, and entering, etc., are the power of intelligence," and the word "etc." should include form, etc. That is, in all aspects, whatever samadhi and so on manifests the wisdom that is not attached to or obstructed by dhyana, liberation, samadhi, and entering, etc. "Knowledge of remembering past lives," which means the power of knowing the remembrance of past lives, that is, in all aspects, whatever samadhi and so on manifests the wisdom that is not attached to or obstructed by the power of past lives and remembrance. Similarly, "Thus, the wisdom of death and birth," which means the power of knowing death and birth, that is, in all aspects, whatever samadhi and so on manifests the wisdom that is not attached to or obstructed by death and birth. "The power of knowing the exhaustion of all defilements," which means the power of knowing the exhaustion of all defilements, that is, in all aspects, whatever samadhi and so on manifests the wisdom that is not attached to or obstructed by the exhaustion of all defilements. "These are the ten powers," which is a conclusion, these are called the powers that are not overcome by opposing factors. In order to show the nature of the power of knowing what is possible and impossible, therefore, "In this place" and so on are declared, from what kind of object with the nature of a cause, what kind of result arises.
