It is said, "It is not established by reason." If the mind does not merge into that very reality, then the ascertainment of the object of that very reality will not be reasonable. If it is said that not having experienced that very reality is called having experienced it, then the answer to that is: How can there be knowledge without complete knowledge? It will be contradictory. It is said, "It will be contradictory." How can something that is not understood become understood? Because understanding and not understanding are mutually contradictory. Regarding "without a knower," etc., if one does not understand that very reality, then there is no knower of that very reality. Who among you can make others understand that "the unborn is that very reality"? Because the teacher has prior wisdom. In order to explain it through commentary. It is said, "The unborn," etc. That "also" refers to that very reality. "To it" refers to that very reality. "Without characteristics" is because of the nature of the unborn. Because on that very reality, there are no characteristics of existence, non-existence, etc. "Having an object of knowledge" refers to having the object of that very reality. "Your" refers to among you. Therefore, "it is not reasonable here" means it is not possible to comprehend that very reality. In order to answer this, it is said, "It should be declared here," etc. The unborn among all things is that very reality, because others are not unconditioned, so it is not possible to become the nature of that very reality. "The mind is also unborn" is because all things are originally unborn, so the mind is also unborn. "At that time, they," etc. The aspect of that very reality, which is unborn, is shown by the mind, because the mind also has the aspect of the unborn, so it is as if the mind realizes that very reality with the nature of the unborn, because the object is unborn, so it is experienced, but it is not the realization of that very reality. This is just an approximate assumption, but there is no such thing as what can be explained and what is to be explained. This meaning is an example from the Sutra.

In order to explain through the door of "thusness," the phrase "how" and so on is spoken. If a cognition with a blue appearance arises, then at that time, it is said that this cognition fully knows the object of blue and so on, but in reality, it is not so. Because in reality, external objects do not appear. Likewise, it is through reliance on convention that there is awareness. This means that just as one fully knows blue, it is said that one comprehends suchness through reliance on convention, but in reality, it is not so. The meaning here is how to benefit those of the same time, and since the ways of benefiting are different, even though one has not experienced blue and other things, because a cognition with a blue appearance has arisen, it is approximated that one has experienced blue, and distinctions are made. Similarly, here too, because there is an appearance that does not arise in the mind, suchness is assumed to be experienced by the characteristic of non-arising, and distinctions are made. But in reality, it is not so, because suchness is beyond all elaborations. Therefore, not focusing on any object is itself the comprehension of suchness. If you say, how can one experience what one has not experienced? These two are contradictory. That statement is also unreasonable. Because it is not said that someone who has not realized suchness has realized suchness. However, not focusing on any object is itself the experience of suchness, so how can there be contradiction? In order to explain through commentary, the phrase "this" and so on is spoken. "Here" refers to the state of reason, "to hold following its appearance" refers to holding following the appearance of the object. "Cognition arises following the appearance of suchness" refers to the fact that cognition also has the nature of non-arising. "Following its appearance itself" refers to following the appearance of suchness. "These depend on" refers to depending on the appearance of suchness. If it is not directly realized, but assumed, then why? In order to answer this, the phrase "cognition" is spoken.
