Like the size of a Ku-ru-ra fruit, and like the tip of a mote of dust. Saying this is the place of light. The so-called "empowerment" means that the light of the Buddhas dwells in the body of the Bodhisattva. This is the explanation of the commentary on the Tenth Chapter of Generating the Mind. Now, in order to show the individual qualities of the Bodhisattvas who dwell on the ten bhumis, it is said, "Now," and so on. The so-called "obtaining the number of those qualities" means obtaining the number of individual qualities, starting from the first generation of the mind. The so-called "At that time, one sees a hundred Buddhas" means that when this Bodhisattva truly generates the first Bodhicitta, he will see one hundred Buddhas. The so-called "He also understands the blessings of those" means that this Bodhisattva will also understand the blessings of those Buddhas, that is, like the wisdom of the Buddhas, he will experience non-conceptual wisdom, which is called blessing. The so-called "At that time, he will abide for a hundred kalpas" means that at the time of generating the first Bodhicitta, he has the ability to abide for a hundred kalpas. The so-called "He also enters the beginning and the end" means that he fully understands from the perspective of the beginning and the end with a hundred kalpas, that is, based on liberating sentient beings from sins, he shows the flow of karma. The so-called "intelligent" refers to the Bodhisattva. The so-called "He enters and arises from hundreds of samadhis" means that he enters and arises from one hundred thousand samadhis. The so-called "He can shake and manifest hundreds of worlds" means that he can shake and manifest hundreds of worlds. The so-called "Thus, through miraculous powers, he can ripen hundreds of thousands of sentient beings" means that through miraculous powers, he can enable one hundred thousand sentient beings to abide in virtuous deeds, and he can also go to one hundred thousand Buddha lands. This means maturing sentient beings through conduct and manifestation.

Oh, that's it. Therefore, "The son of the Able One who correctly opens the doors of the Dharma," refers to that Bodhisattva who truly comprehends the number of one hundred Dharma doors, and contemplates their meaning in order to fully mature his own wisdom. The son of the Able One is a Bodhisattva who can universally manifest one hundred Bodhisattva bodies on his own body. What kind of bodies? "Each with a beautiful and adorned body with its own retinue," it is said, meaning that each Bodhisattva body manifests as a Bodhisattva with a retinue. To show the number of the retinue with certainty, it is said, "Also shows connection with hundreds of sons of the Victorious Ones." That is, it shows connection with one hundred Bodhisattvas. In order to indicate from the source of the sutra, "As it is said" and so on are said. In "kshana, tatkshana, muhurta," that which cannot be divided into parts is the ultimate of time, that is, kshana. One hundred and twenty kshanas, sixty of those kshanas are a tatkshana. Thirty tatkshanas are a muhurta. In just that amount of time, one can enter and arise from samadhi. Those refer to the Buddhas. The others have already been explained. Showing one hundred in all places is because it is definite. Although the number is not fixed by the power of skillful means. Therefore, it is also said that countless samadhis are obtained in the place of adhimukti-carya, and Buddhas and so on are also seen. That will also be explained later, that they will possess and rule Jambudvipa, and will protect the Dharma. After showing the merits of the first generation of mind, in order to show the merits of the Bodhisattva who generates the second mind, "intelligent" and so on are said. Those qualities, because the hundred are mentioned by number. Just like that, it means like the first bhumi one obtains merit. Dwelling in the stainless place means dwelling in the second bhumi. Those are the qualities.
