Because if one does not abandon attachment, Nirvana is impossible. So, how is it said that "will completely attain Nirvana"? To explain this, it is said "not abandoning attachment," etc. The so-called "not abandoning attachment" refers to not abandoning the attachment of the three realms. To explain the refutation of others, it is said "if," etc. If someone says that from the cycle of existence perceived as humans, etc., through the power of meditation and the power of compassion, one has done the benefit of sentient beings, thereby perfecting the Dharma of Buddhahood, how can one perfect the Dharma of Buddhahood since there is no cycle of existence? To answer this question, it is said "explanation," etc. The so-called "their" refers to the ten powers. The so-called "will show various self-natures" means that Bodhisattvas will show various self-natures, that is, show long-term dwelling, etc., which is to show clearly. Showing and clarifying are synonyms. The so-called "existence's going" refers to going to humans, etc. To explain this through commentary, it is said "this cycle is," etc. The so-called "nature of mind" means that it is not accomplished by karma and afflictions, but is transformed by mind. To explain these ten powers from the perspective of the Sutra, it is said "these ten powers are," etc. The so-called "obtaining power over life by blessing the lifespan of incalculable and also incalculable eons" means that however many numbers there are when adding incalculable eons and also incalculable eons, one blesses that much lifespan, thereby obtaining power over life. Thus, after explaining power over life, to explain power over mind, it is said "Samadhi," etc., which should be connected to "obtaining power over mind." If asked how, then the answer is said "immeasurable," etc., because it cannot be measured, it is immeasurable. Because it cannot be completely determined by numbers, it is countless. For Samadhi, one must definitely think with the mind, that is, put the mind into it, and enter its wisdom, that is, abide in various Samadhis of power over mind.

It means to enter. In order to show the mastery over resources, it is said, "World," and so on. It means to adorn all the worlds with various forms, showing the blessing of being adorned with pearls, gold, silver, and so on. Therefore, it shows that all the worlds are endowed with various resources. The meaning of this is that bodhisattvas, having obtained mastery over resources, in all the worlds, rain down immeasurable and invaluable resources and various necessities for sentient beings. In order to show the mastery over karma, it is said, "The ripening of karma," and so on. The so-called "showing the ripening by blessing as it is in time" means that at whatever time there is the ripening of karma, at that time, blessing is given. The meaning of this is that one can completely transform the karmas that are to be experienced in realms, destinies, birthplaces, and other states into something else. In order to show the mastery over birth, it is said, "World," and so on. The so-called "constantly showing birth in all the worlds" means that while abiding in samadhi without falling away, one shows birth in all the worlds, in the desire realm and so on. In order to show the mastery over aspiration, it is said, "Buddha-field," and so on. The so-called "manifestly awakening to enlightenment in whatever Buddha-field and at whatever time one desires" means showing the manifest awakening to enlightenment in the Buddha-field and special time that one pleases, that is, just as that one has aspired to manifestly awaken to enlightenment in whatever Buddha-field and at whatever time, it will happen in that way. The meaning of this is that as one wishes, one can accomplish one's own benefit and the benefit of others, and one can manifestly accomplish countless great aspirations, that is the mastery over aspiration, and it will become one with fruit. In order to show the mastery over faith and understanding, it is said, "World," and so on.

It is said that "showing all realms of the world completely filled with the body of the Buddha" means that by the power of faith, one can show all realms of the world completely filled with the body of the Buddha. This is just an approximate example, as it can also show earth and other elements transforming into the nature of water and other elements. In order to show the ability to control miracles, it is said, "All Buddha-fields," etc. The so-called "showing all kinds of miraculous transformations in all Buddha-fields" means that all Buddha-fields transform into the form of miracles, that is, showing the nature of vaidurya and other substances. This is only an approximate example, because by the power of miracles, in order to subdue sentient beings, countless miracles are also shown. In order to show the ability to control wisdom, it is said, "Thus Gone One," etc. The powers of the Thus Gone One, etc., will be explained below. Fearlessness and the unique qualities of the Buddha have already been discussed. Regarding the marks and signs, such as the wheel mark on the palms and soles of the hands and feet, and the webbed fingers and toes, there are thirty-two major marks. Regarding the minor marks, such as nails like the color of copper, smooth nails, raised nails, round fingers, full fingers, slender fingers, invisible veins, and veins without knots, there are eighty minor marks. These should also be understood from the Twenty-Five Thousand Verse Sutra. The so-called "manifestly awakened" refers to the wisdom that is free from the two obscurations and focuses on emptiness, which can show these. This is just an approximate example, because by the power of wisdom, one can also attain the ultimate in Dharma, meaning, words, and eloquence. In order to show the ability to control Dharma, it is said, "Edge," etc. The so-called "showing the appearance of Dharma without beginning or end" means that the word "edge" here should also include beginning and end, therefore, edge
