The so-called "not" means that it cannot be said that the Tathagatagarbha's nature is mind, because it cannot be said that the Bhagavan is the very nature of the mind of Alaya-vijñana. The so-called "not mind" means that it cannot be said that the Tathagata is of the nature of the afflicted mind. The so-called "not consciousness" means that it cannot be said that the Tathagata is of the nature of the six consciousnesses, such as eye consciousness. If the Tathagata is not of the nature of Alaya-vijñana and so on, then what kind of nature is it? In response to this, it is said, "Well distinguished by wisdom," which means that its nature is represented by the wisdom of all dharmas that have no object of focus. Its explanation is, "Becoming the master of wisdom," which means that the Tathagata is referred to through wisdom. Even though the Tathagata is of the nature of wisdom, all that is said, such as "all the mental actions of the Tathagata," are spoken from the perspective of the mental actions measured by those to be tamed. Similarly, it should be understood for others as well. The Bhagavan is of the nature of wisdom, and since it is always present, it is said, "Wisdom precedes and follows wisdom." The so-called "following the minds of all sentient beings" is because of knowing the minds of all sentient beings. The so-called " निश्चितम् (藏文:ངེས་པར་བསམས་པས་སོ་)" with respect to all dharmas is because of completely knowing the nature of all dharmas. The so-called "extremely cultivating the limbs of the path" is because all samadhis are self-generated. The so-called "extremely transcending the object of focus" is because there is not even a little bit of things that can be taken as an object of focus. The so-called "being free from arising from conditions" is because cause and effect are not reasonable. The so-called "three existences are clear" means not being included by the transmigrations of the three existences. The so-called "liberated from all the works of Mara" means that Mara cannot find an opportunity. And the Dharmadhatu and

Knowing that it can be filled with just that part. The Tathagata does not have consciousness followed by duality, which is because he does not possess the grasper and the grasped. The Buddha-fields and so on are completely measured by the beings to be tamed. Thus, after explaining the characteristics of the Buddha's unshared dharmas, in order to explain the characteristics of all-knowingness, it is said, "All-knowingness is wisdom," and so on. Knowing all dharmas in all ways, that is, by way of nature, characteristics of difference, and categories, is all-knowingness. This is also measured from the perspective of the beings to be tamed, but in the ultimate truth, completely knowing all dharmas in a non-apprehending way is the wisdom of all-knowingness. "It is considered to be the characteristic of direct perception," because only it can make all dharmas appear extremely clearly. "The other is," refers to merely knowing everything. "With a small part," means not being able to know all dharmas in all ways. "It is not considered to be direct perception," because of that reason, it is not considered to be direct perception. As the Arhat sage said, "He sees the three emptinesses and the countless." Thus, after explaining the characteristics of the dharmas, in order to explain ending with self-nature emptiness, it is said, "Whatever," and so on. "Conditioned" refers to the aggregates, elements, and sources. "What is the characteristic of the unconditioned?" refers to non-obscuration and so on. In order to explain non-apprehension emptiness, it is said, "This present," and so on. "Non-abiding" means that if it abides in the present, then at that time there would be a beginning and an end of the nature of arising and ceasing. If it is admitted that things exist at the time of arising, abiding, and ceasing, then the moment of things would become three parts, so it would not become a moment. Therefore, the present does not abide in the present, so it is called the non-abiding present. Just like that: "How can a moment have an edge? Similarly, the beginning and middle need to be examined. Therefore, the moment has three
