The reason for saying "mistake" is that the meaning of the Madhyamaka treatises has not been understood. In order to clarify the meaning of the treatises, it is said, "The meaning of this is," and so on. "This" refers to the treatise. The so-called "taken by the childish ones" refers to the nature of atoms and earth. The so-called "of those" refers to the eyes, etc. The so-called "due to perversion" refers to the perversion due to the power of ignorance. The so-called "nature is that" refers to the nature of the eyes, etc. The so-called "this is without self-nature" refers to the nature of atoms and earth. The so-called "for the sake of such meaning" refers to seeking that ultimate truth. The so-called "that" refers to the nature of ultimate truth. The so-called "depending on conventional truth" refers to the conventional truth that clarifies the meaning. As for ultimate truth, since it is unspeakable, it is not something to be spoken. The so-called "that which is not seen by the childish ones is that" means that otherwise, each individual ordinary being would also become a noble one. The so-called "that is the lineage of self-nature" refers to the self-nature of non-fabrication and the self-nature of not depending on others. The so-called "only by that" refers to showing the self-nature of non-fabrication, etc. The so-called "it is neither a real thing nor a non-real thing" means that real things and non-real things are mutually dependent, so it is not ultimate truth. Therefore, it is said, "That is because of the peace of self-nature." The self-nature of ultimate truth transcends all conceptualizations. The meaning of this is that if I say that the self-nature of the atoms and the nature of earth taken by the eyes, etc., exists, then at that time, since I have previously prohibited that self-nature, the blame for mutually contradictory faults such as "Aima Mala" etc. will fall on me. However, since the self-nature of non-fabrication and non-dependence on others has been promised, how can the meaning of mutual contradiction be said since the self-nature of non-fabrication and dependence on others has been promised? Then, how can that self-nature exist? Existence is non-existence.

Because it depends on it. But that is not the case either. If it is not examined, it is said to exist depending on the delightful conventional truth, in order to make the listeners understand through metaphors, but not in the ultimate truth, because it is unspeakable. Similarly, for it, non-artificiality, etc., are also said in the conventional truth. In order to show that such a nature is established in both, it is said, "This nature is," etc. The teacher refers to Nagarjuna. Furthermore, it also refers to those who speak of entities. This meaning refers to the nature characterized by non-artificiality, etc. As it is said, "Nature from causes and conditions, arising is not reasonable," etc. In order to show that those who say that the nature of fire, etc., is heat, etc., are unreasonable. It is said, "Whoever," etc. Whoever refers to those who speak of entities. To this, others say, because the nature of fire, etc., exists as heat, etc., it is not artificial and dependent on others. The answer is, it is said, "Because it exists," etc. To this, "it" refers to the nature of heat, etc. It is said, "By saying 'it,' it is not saying nature," that is, the word "it" cannot say that nature exists. Why? It is said, "Because there is no entity." Because there is no entity with the characteristics of heat, etc. The meaning of this is, if the nature with the characteristics of heat, etc., exists, then because it exists, it is not artificial, etc., but because it is not established as existing, how can it have non-artificiality, etc.? If it does not exist, then how does one say the worldly term "the nature of heat, etc., exists" at that time? To this, the answer is, it is said, "In the conventional," etc. "Satisfied with vastness" means that what comes incidentally becomes vast and is satisfied. It's just ordinary.
