"The wise say that the fruit of analysis is complete." This is what is being taught. There is also no refutation of the other's position, because the other's position to be refuted is not established as a real thing. Therefore, I am not arguing in accordance with what is agreeable. The remainder should be understood by this very point, that is, when additional faults are stated in accordance with what is agreeable, the faults should also be understood by this very point that was previously shown, that is, how the argument in accordance with what is agreeable is, as it was previously stated, and should be abandoned. If I eliminate the other's position, it will become an argument in accordance with what is agreeable, and if someone establishes their own position and refutes the other's position, then if I refute them, it will become an argument in accordance with what is agreeable, but since there is nothing that becomes a real thing, and there is no own position or other's position, the establishment and refutation of those are not established. Since there is no reversal of those, how can I become an argument in accordance with what is agreeable? Additional faults such as these should also be stated. In order for that to be shown by the commentary. He spoke of "dependent arising" and so on. "The establishment of dependent arising" is at the time of showing the selflessness of phenomena. "The establishment of imputation based on dependence" is at the time of emptying the selflessness of the person. "In the other's position" is in the position of speaking of having self-nature. "From what is said to be refuted" is "not from myself" and so on. "For the sake of the answer of the refutation" is that for those who speak of having things, for the sake of answering the refutation, whatever is not in harmony is similar, so it is not the cause, what reason is there for this? Whatever is said like that, the refutation should be abandoned. In order to show that it is not an argument in accordance with what is agreeable. He spoke of "from the treatise" and so on. "From the treatise" is from the treatise of Madhyamaka. In order to show the subsequent refutation. He spoke of "by what" and so on. "By what" is one's own position.

Establishing one's own side and refuting the other's side, etc. This, which has been defined, is called becoming a true definition, which means that any opponent who only establishes his position by abandoning his own side and excluding the other's side is a definition that refutes in a way that can break everything, and that becomes a true definition. This definition refers to the definition of refuting everything. The word "such and so on" includes the fact that it is unreasonable to establish one's own side because the subject, reason, and example are not established for both. The so-called "only this side" refers to how the refutation that can break everything does not exist, which is the aspect mentioned earlier. Now, in order to show the meaning of the summary, it is said, "Thereupon, that is it," and so on. The so-called "up to this point" means that, as mentioned before, the remaining part should be understood through this aspect. Therefore, showing this means showing the absence of self of phenomena and the absence of self of person. The so-called "various distinctions of emptiness" means that absence of self and emptiness are different names for the same thing. The so-called "this absence of self," etc., the so-called distinction by phenomena and person, refers to the synonym of distinguishing by the absence of self of phenomena and the absence of self of person. Why is this said? It is said, "For the sake of liberating beings," etc. There are two types of liberation from that: the nature of abandoning the obscuration of afflictions and the nature of abandoning the obscuration of afflictions and knowledge. Among them, the liberation of the nature of abandoning the obscuration of afflictions is established for the hearers and solitary realizers through fully understanding the absence of self of person. The liberation of the nature of abandoning both is established for bodhisattvas and buddhas. That liberation also arises through fully realizing the two absences of self, and therefore it is said to be for the sake of saving beings. In order to show that through explanation, it is said, "This absence of self," etc. The so-called for the sake of showing liberation refers to all afflictions.
