The term "that" refers to things like fire, which are inherently warm and cannot be understood without being artificial and independent of others. The phrase "Why bind the world here with a web of evil concepts?" means that since the nature of things can be established by the valid means of perception, etc., as taught in the treatises of conceptualization, why should the world be displeased? Because the nature of things cannot be established by valid means of perception, such as perception. In order to be explained by that commentary, "how" and so on are stated. The word "etc." should include images and so on. The so-called "example established in one's own side" means that they are recognized as false by worldly people. The phrase "because there is no example known to both" means that among those who speak of non-inherent existence and inherent existence, there is no example of inherent existence with a well-known example. Thus, I have refuted all arguments, because it is very easy to establish that things do not exist, therefore I have refuted all arguments. In order to show that no one can say a rebuttal, it is the same as having to establish all rebuttals. Now, in order to show that there is no compassion, "therefore" and so on are stated. The so-called "why" means that it is easy to make people understand non-inherent existence. The phrase "Who would urge to whip for doing meaningless things to the world?" means that whoever has harmed the world, that person will advise: now the world has done harm, now you deceive the world. Why? "You, world," etc. are stated, and it should be connected as: because a bond is imposed on the world. What kind of world? "Afflictions" are stated, which become the object of compassion. It is said, "Like a silkworm, covered with its own cocoon of discrimination," just as a silkworm makes its own saliva cocoon and then covers itself with it, one's own discrimination is the cocoon, and it is covered with it. What kind of bond? It is said, "Entangled with the thread of evil discrimination," evil discrimination is the thread.

That was done. The meaning of this is that sentient beings of the world are bound to samsara by the power of their own conceptual thoughts. On top of that, due to the valid cognitions such as direct perception of bad reasoning doctrines, they also create a binding chain in order to prove that all phenomena have inherent existence. Because inherent existence is proven, sentient beings of the world are very tightly bound to samsara and cannot be liberated. Therefore, the rope woven by bad reasoning should be discarded. In order to clarify this, it is said, "This debate is," etc. The so-called "This debate is" is caused by bad reasoning. Bad reasoning depends on valid cognition and the object of valid cognition. In order to refute them, it is said, "things." Because all phenomena are false like images, there is no self-characteristic, etc. The so-called "no self-characteristic, and no common characteristic" is to prevent the object of valid cognition. The so-called "what is direct perception or inference?" is to prevent valid cognition. If the direct perception and inference of bad reasoning doctrines are not valid cognitions, then what is valid cognition? The answer is, "Here," etc. Whoever can understand all phenomena through the path of non-objectification, that is direct perception, because only it can truly realize the nature of phenomena. Even so, it only exists in the conventional truth following the scriptural authority, not in the ultimate truth. In this way, in order to show that proving no inherent existence is easy, and in order to further refute the refutations of those who assert the existence of things to the arguments of cause and effect, and to show that there is no fault of attacking back, it is said, "In addition," etc. "The remaining refutation should be applied here." "The remaining refutation, if you know what was said above," means that by establishing dependent origination, the refutation of preventing the arising of other schools, the remaining refutation from the refutation that was said, that is, "not from oneself," etc., should be understood according to the situation.
