English

What is meant by "is" refers to cause and effect. What is meant by "from what does what transform" is that if a cause previously exists, then at that time it transforms from cause to effect; if an effect is previously established, then it transforms from effect to cause. What is meant by "upon what, what transforms first, and then speaks" is whether the effect exists before the cause? Or does the cause exist before the effect, please state that. If the cause exists first and the effect exists later, then at that time, according to the manner previously shown, the cause will become without a cause. If the effect exists first and the cause exists later, then at that time the effect will become without a cause. In order to explain that through commentary, therefore it is said "Is it a cause?" and so on. What is meant by "those two" refers to the two, cause and effect. What is meant by "therefore" and so on is a conclusion, like a chariot, after being established as a cause, what should be done is to know that it is established as an effect dependent on the cause, and established as a cause dependent on the effect, because worldly conventions are established without investigation. If cause and effect exist with their own self-nature, then now, in order to explain other faults, therefore it is said "furthermore" and so on. What is meant by "combining or" is, like rivers and oceans, do they combine into one and produce? What is meant by "not combining" refers to existing separately. Among them, refuting the first view is, it is said "among them, temporarily" and so on. If the cause combines and produces the effect, this refers to restating the first view. What is meant by "at that time" and so on is the answer, what is meant by "those abilities from one" is because what is produced and what produces are one, having the ability to produce or the ability not to produce, therefore what is produced and what produces will not become different. The meaning here is that combining here is unreasonable, therefore, if cause and effect touch each other, then at that time are they touching with all of their self-nature or with a part? If it is touching with all of its self-nature, then at that time the two will become one, if not mutually entering with all of their self-nature, then self-nature

Because everything is without contact. If one wants to make contact with one aspect, then that which makes contact with one aspect enters into that aspect. If one aspect does not make contact, then the fault of criticizing the non-contacting aspect will occur. Therefore, it is not that the result is produced after contact. In order to show the fault of the non-contacting aspect, it is said, "Separately," and so on. If this cause is separate from the effect, then at that time it will be no different from non-causes. For example, a potter is different from smoke, so he is not the cause of smoke. Likewise, fire is also not the cause, so smoke has no cause. If it arises from something that is no different from a non-cause, then it would follow that everything arises from everything. However, if it is said that it is produced by a side other than the side of contact and non-contact, then in order to show that this is also not reasonable, it is said, "These two," and so on. "These two" refers to contact and non-contact. Other discriminations will not arise. That is to say, a third aspect that is neither both nor neither, such contradictory dharmas cannot exist in the objects of cause and effect. In order to explain this through commentary, it is said, "If," and so on. If, fearing the fault of criticizing the aspects of contact and non-contact, one does not accept that the cause produces the effect, then in order to reveal the fault in that, it is said, "Therefore, if," and so on. If your school does not accept that the cause produces the effect, and thereby accepts that there is no effect, this is a repetition of the previous view. "When," and so on, is the answer, meaning that it is without cause, because there is no reason for the cause to become the cause itself. In order to explain this through commentary, it is said, "The cause becomes the cause itself," and so on. "The arising of the effect" means producing the effect. Now, in order to show the question of the other party to the Madhyamika school, it is said, "How do you," and so on. If, for my school, in the way of contact or non-contact,

If the seed does not produce fruit, how does your sect produce it? To this, the Madhyamika replies: He said, "Because," and so on. "These two" refers to the nature of cause and effect. "Like an illusion" means that just as an illusory elephant, etc., although non-existent, appears, so too, although both cause and effect are non-existent, they appear due to the power of ignorance. Because both are like illusions, the fault of saying that cause and effect exist by nature only exists in the previously stated sect. Therefore, worldly things such as cause and effect, which are said to exist without investigation, do exist. In order for the interpreter to follow this, he said, "According to what," and so on. "One's own characteristic" refers to being substantially existent. "This analysis changes." Refers to the analysis starting from "from," etc. The object of analysis is substantially existent. "Erroneously imputed" refers to being aroused by the habit of clinging to things from beginningless time. To this, "inconceivable," etc., the analysis related to "with," etc., is inconceivable. "Everything is accomplished" refers to cause and effect, etc. Again, others point out the same fault to the Madhyamika, saying, "Here some," and so on. "Here" refers to the occasion of refuting cause and effect. "Some" refers to those who believe that cause and effect substantially exist. "Answer" refers to the answer to the refutation. In order to demonstrate this, he said, "As it is said," and so on. "To you also" refers to the Madhyamika. In order to demonstrate the sameness of the examination, how is it? He said, "This refutation," and so on. Do cause and effect arise in conjunction, or do they arise without conjunction? Whatever refutation is spoken, does the thing that refutes cause and effect refute in conjunction, or does it refute without conjunction? If it refutes in conjunction
