In order to explain, this sutra says "therefore" and so on. The so-called "to be convinced" means "will definitely be." If you ask, what is the necessity of necessity? The answer is: "It is said in relation to the conventional truth." Just as the heretics think that I (Tibetan: བདག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म, Sanskrit Romanization: ātma, Chinese literal meaning: self) is अलग होना है और शाश्वत जैसे गुणों से युक्त होने के कारण हमेशा कल्पना की जाती from the aggregates and always imagined to be endowed with qualities such as permanence, it is also not present in the mundane way. In order to clearly explain the non-inverted conventional truth, because I and others who do not exist in the conventional are not completely falsely established, the non-inverted conventional truth will be clearly explained. If you ask, how is this determined? The sutra "Bhiksus, are they sramanas?" and so on, only prevents अलग होना है और शाश्वत जैसे गुणों से युक्त होने के कारण हमेशा कल्पना की जाती from the aggregates, it is not to show that the aggregates themselves are. In order to explain that answer, it is said "from other sutras" and so on. Because it is forbidden in other sutras that form etc. खुद है, therefore bhiksus etc. there the aggregates themselves are, it is not the intention of the sutra. In order to explain that through commentary, it is said "therefore" and so on. In order to explain the intention of "because form and feeling are not me" etc., it is said "from where form etc. also" etc. The so-called "I who is established by dependence" is the I who is nominally established by relying on the aggregates. The so-called "having the grasping of aggregates" refers to the one who has the grasping of aggregates, meaning that the I who is nominally established by relying on the aggregates is also non-existent. If you ask, if there is an I that can be nominally established in the conventional, how can it be prevented? The answer is: because this is the occasion to think about the ultimate truth. Because this is the occasion to practice the ultimate truth, the I who is established by dependence is also non-existent. In order to explain the necessity of preventing me, it is said "because of what" etc. Because the taker is not

If it is not observed, this refers to not observing the 'I' as the agent of appropriation of the aggregates. 'Its appropriation also does not exist' refers to the fact that the designation of appropriation is made in dependence on appropriation, and if there is no appropriator, then appropriation also does not exist. Therefore, since there are no aggregates etc., my manifest attachment is separate from things, so the desire etc. that have aggregates etc. as their objects will be reversed. Therefore, the necessity of negating the 'I' that is posited in dependence is for the sake of being free from desire for form etc. In order to show the conclusion, it is said 'For what reason' etc. What is said as 'It is said thus in other sutras' refers to 'For what reason is form not self' etc. What is said as 'The previous' refers to what was previously shown as 'Monks, are they ascetics' etc. In order to show other faults, it is said 'Also, the sutra section' etc. What is said as 'This teaching of the sutra section' refers to 'Monks' etc. What is said as 'Even if it is determined as a way of establishing' refers to the fact that since the aggregates are shown to be the nature of 'I', even if it is determined as a way of establishing. What is said as 'Why is it?' refers to why it cannot be shown. In order to show the answer to this, it is said 'For example' etc. Since it is said 'The aggregates are the nature of 'I'', therefore the collection of many aggregates will become 'I', but each aggregate is not the nature of 'I'. In order to show this through explanation, it is said 'For example' etc. What is said as 'Not the nature of a tree' refers to the fact that the nature of each tree will not become a forest. Why is it? The answer to this is, it is said 'Each tree' etc. The collection of aggregates itself is 'I', but each aggregate is not. If the collection of aggregates becomes 'I', what fault would there be? In order to show the answer to this, it is said 'Therefore' etc. What is said as 'Because of the nature of being nothing' etc. refers to the fact that because there is no nature of things, therefore the absence of things is not a protector, tamer, or independent one. Therefore, it is reasonable that the collection is also not 'I'.
