That which is called "that" is that none of the atoms, etc., has become more powerful. At that time, it should not be expressed by the word of self-nature called "Lord". In order to explain the reason for this, it is said here that "qualities, etc.", that is, it is not becoming the main thing, it is not becoming extremely peaceful, it is not becoming more powerful. "They" refers to suffering, ignorance and happiness. The so-called "the stage of their transformation is self-nature" means that whichever stage becomes stronger is self-nature. The so-called "having a transformation" means having a part of suffering. The so-called "having courage" means having a part of happiness. The so-called "mind with the nature of both" means the one blessed by the root of karma and the root of wisdom. The so-called "the actor of both ego" refers to the ego of the transformed and the courageous. The so-called "self-nature and transformation itself" means that it is the author of other things such as the mind, and it is the thing produced by other things such as self-nature. The so-called "transformation alone" means that it is not produced by others. The so-called "relying on its slight differences" means relying on my differences. In order to explain the nature of the self that is recognized by the Vaiśeṣika school, therefore, "for example," etc. are declared, and the so-called "suffering is the opposite of it" means that suffering is the experience of an unpleasant state. The so-called "its ultimate" means to work hard for what is to be accomplished. The so-called "its opposite is illegal" means that from where the evil destinies and samsara are accomplished, that is illegal. The so-called "born from knowledge and become the cause of knowledge" refers to the co-occurring condition, such as the words of the speaker, etc., and the proximate cause, born from the consciousness of the mind, the consciousness similar to the previous one, what is its cause, that is the power of combination, for example, the combination of the projection of an arrow, becomes the cause of obtaining another state, similarly, the special consciousness the cause of arising is combination.
