It is said that "there is no self-nature." Because it is said: Self-nature is not artificial, and does not depend on others. Therefore, whatever is subject to conditions is emptiness. The so-called "carefulness" means not being confused by afflictions such as desire. When that is the case, "when self-nature is not admitted," it is said that because it is dependent arising, so when self-nature is not admitted, for the manifested formations and so on, because there is no self-nature, where do thoughts of permanence and so on arise? In order to show that in detail, it is said "if" and so on. The so-called "not in other ways" means when there is no self-nature. If there are things, thoughts will change, it is said because those are object-oriented. How things do not exist has already been fully examined, it is said that it is argued that things do not exist by "not born from myself" and so on. The so-called "these" refers to thoughts. In order to give an example of this, it is said, "For example, just as there is no fire without firewood." In order to show that through explanation, it is said "because of what" and so on. The so-called "in the way of not seeing" is the same as seeing that no dharma is seen. In order to show that, it is said "for any dharma" and so on. In order to show the fruit of seeing that very truth, it is said "because of the habit of no beginning" and so on. In order to show in detail the fruit of merely the reversal of discrimination, it is said "for example" and so on. The so-called "self-nature by others" refers to the self-nature of existence. The so-called "therefore" refers to the reason for the reversal of discrimination. The so-called "bound by discrimination" refers to falling into samsara through attachment to things and through discriminations such as desire. The so-called "non-discriminating yogis will be liberated" means that yogis do not discriminate things, and desires and other discriminations are reversed, so they will be liberated from samsara.

O! In order to explain this through interpretation, it is said, "For what reason," and so on. This "suchness of dharma" is the very nature of things being devoid of inherent existence, characterized by the non-reversal of conceptual proliferation. "As it is said" is from the Four Hundred Verses. "Things" and so on, if emptiness is taught for the sake of seeing suchness, then suchness is inherent existence, it is the essence itself. If that inherent existence becomes some thing, then, since at that time it is the ultimate truth, it will be well for those who think that seeing it alone is liberation. However, seeing emptiness alone is not liberation. Because at that time, it is not only not for the sake of qualities, but also because it engages in slander, it will only become the cause of faults. When things that are devoid of inherent existence appear to have inherent existence due to the power of perversion, they become the cause of worldly attachment. Therefore, the continuity of samsara occurs. Because the continuity of birth arises from actions and afflictions that have a continuity of attachment to things. Therefore, the treatise that clarifies the absence of inherent existence is one that teaches the absence of inherent existence of things by clarifying superimposition and slander. After worldly people realize that the absence of inherent existence of things is the absence of inherent existence itself, just like realizing images and so on, they exhaust the actions and afflictions that are the cause of attachment to things, and thus they will surely be liberated by cutting off the continuity of all bonds such as desire. Therefore, this treatise teaches that things are devoid of inherent existence. In order to show that there is no slander of dependent origination here, it is said, "Bondage is seeing conceptualization," and so on. To things that are not real, superimposition is called conceptualization. Having realized that beings are bound by it, in order to stop that conceptualization, the Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas, who are distressed by the suffering of beings and possess great compassion,
