Just as form and taste, etc., are impossible without wind, etc., so too, phenomena are also without self-nature because they are not established without mutual dependence. In order to show that this is from the Jewel Garland, it says "Similarly," etc. The self-nature of each of earth, etc., does not exist. To show the reason for the absence of self-nature, it says "Whatever three," etc. Because each of earth, etc., does not exist without the three of water, etc., and without one element with the characteristics of earth, etc., the three do not exist. Therefore, phenomena are not self-existent, but obtain self-nature by depending on each other, so they are not self-existent. This is the conclusion. In order to show that there is no aggregation without self-nature, it says "Separately," etc., which is easy to understand. In order to show from another aspect that it is impossible for an imputed pot to have substance, it says "As," etc. It is not desired that the impermanent arises from the permanent, because there is no result without a cause. Similarly, it is impossible for a non-substantial pot to arise from substantial form, etc. As it is said, things arise from the permanent. It means that the impermanent sprout fruit arises from the impermanent seed, which is widely recognized in the world. But in any case, the permanent does not produce the impermanent, because the inconsistency of cause and effect has never been seen. That is to say, the difference in nature that the cause is permanent and the effect is impermanent has never been seen in the world, so the permanent cannot be the cause. In order to show through the meaning of the summary that the imputed existence is the cause of the imputed existence, it says "Therefore, thus," etc. The words "face, etc." include the neck, etc. It should be understood that the face, etc., are imputed existences like pots, etc. Image

It is a form similar to an emanation being. It should be understood as before that everything exists as imputed. In order to reveal the source of the "Root Wisdom of the Middle Way," it is said, "As it is," and so on. Here is a realm of perfectly endowed miraculous emanations, where an emanation performs other emanations by emanation. He (referring to the previous emanation) also emanates other emanations. Like this, similar to an emanation, from the agent and what is done by him, how does an emanation emanate other emanations? Similarly, afflictions and actions, body and agent are the result. This treatise should be understood by the word "etc." and the term "between." The meaning of this is, how does the Teacher, the Buddha Bhagavan, emanate emanations through the power of miracles? Whichever emanation is emanated by the Buddha Bhagavan, that emanation also emanates other emanations. Therefore, that emanation that emanates other emanations is emptiness, without inherent existence, and is separate from the nature of the Tathagatagarbha. The emanation that is emanated by an emanation is also emptiness, without inherent existence, and is separate from the nature of the Tathagatagarbha. Just as here, the non-inherent existence of things without inherent existence, the result obtains the names of agent and action, similarly here also, the agent of action is the form of an emanation, that is, empty of self-nature. The agent who is empty of self-nature, whatever action he slightly performs, is also empty of self-nature, just as an emanation being emanates other emanations, it should be understood. Not only to view non-inherent existence through the metaphor of emanation, but also in order to clearly understand the non-inherent existence of phenomena through these metaphors, it is said, afflictions and actions, etc. Among them, afflictions are desire, etc., because they afflict and harm the mind stream. Actions are virtuous actions, non-virtuous actions, and unwavering actions. Body and agent refer to the mind and body as the agent. The result is the result of maturation, the dominant result, the result similar to the cause, etc. Afflictions

Like things such as mirages, one should understand that all phenomena are without inherent existence. Therefore, although what truly exists is not the root cause of a sign, it is reasonable to posit it as a cause. Therefore, saying "this is not a refutation" means that the refutation that because what is imputed has no cause, it would follow that it is like the son of a barren woman, is not valid. To this, the other's initial position is presented, saying "here it is said" etc. In both initial positions, "also" refers to both the conventional and ultimate aspects. How can birth be determined to be contradictory in the conventional? This is what it means. In order to show the answer to that, it is said, "that should be stated" etc. Therefore, "because it arises dependently" means that if it is not examined, it is pleasing to arise dependently on others, but it is not arising from its own nature, because both sides want to prevent arising from its own nature. In order to show that with an explanation, it is said, "for what reason" etc. "In the manner as it was said" means in the manner of "not from oneself" etc. Saying "son of the desireless one" refers to Vishnu, because some consider Vishnu to be the cause of beings. The word "etc." should include self and so on. Saying "just that much" refers to just dependent arising. Saying "in order not to cut off worldly conventions" means that if one does not rely on dependent arising, worldly conventions will be cut off. In order to show the source of the sutra, it is said, "as it is said" etc. "The designation of phenomena" refers to the designation of the arising of all phenomena. "This existing, this arises" means that if this object of the cause exists, then this object of the result will arise, but it is not arising from its own nature. If the permanent also becomes a cause, because Ishvara exists, the result will also exist, to that the answer is: "This being born, this is born," which means that only the impermanent is the cause, and the permanent is not the cause. In order to show that with an example,
