If it is said that there is consciousness apart from the ground, the answer to that is: "Seclusion" is spoken of, and it is also secluded by the nature of consciousness. The so-called "nature of the realm is empty" means that the nature of the eighteen realms is also the same. The so-called "any dharma is also empty in nature" means that the sources are also the same. The so-called "endowed with wisdom" means that the aggregates, realms, and sources are emptiness for those who have arisen on the noble path, so they understand the absence of self-nature. The so-called "not a child" means not ordinary people, because they have not understood its true nature. In order to show that whoever has a complete understanding of emptiness is practicing the path of enlightenment, so "wisdom nature" and so on are spoken of. The so-called "if one realizes like a knower" means that if others admit the knower as self, how is it empty, and if all beings can realize it in the same way, then "they practice the path of enlightenment." It means that such a person is practicing the practice of enlightenment. In order to show the conclusion, "therefore this is" and so on are spoken of. The so-called "this is" means why one sees the unproduced nature of form and so on. In order to show the reason for this, "they with" and so on are spoken of. The meaning here is that if the nature of blue and so on appears to yogis in the conventional truth, then the son of a barren woman and so on will also appear at that time, but because the nature of blue and so on does not appear from them even in the conventional truth, then how will the son of a barren woman and so on appear? The so-called "not even the ultimate truth" is because the ultimate truth is liberated from the four extremes. The so-called "for the one with cataracts, stay like transcending and examining" means that for the one with cataracts, do not transcend and examine. The so-called "this is" refers to what will be explained. In "if" and so on, the so-called "Gandharva city" refers to something that some people see as a city due to bad omens in the sky.

That is the city of Gandharvas. The so-called "like water in a mirage" refers to the appearance of water on a sandy plain filled with sunlight at noon. How can it be, called unreasonable, is that just as dreams and the like appear without being born, so too, how can the child of a barren woman appear, which is called unreasonable. Therefore, to be explained by that commentary, "for example" and so on are spoken. The so-called "you should question and examine yourself" means why do you see unborn dreams and the like, but the child of a barren woman is unreasonable? Question and examine it in this way. This shows self-contradiction. Now, to show the uncertainty, "in that" and so on are spoken. The so-called "in that" is the ultimate truth. The so-called "this" is what is seen in dreams and so on. The so-called "even without cause" means even though there is no birth. The meaning of this is that whatever is seen in dreams and so on, although there is no birth in the ultimate truth, it does not become an object of sight like the child of a barren woman, but it becomes an object of sight. Therefore, saying "this is uncertain" shows that if it is like that, those things said about forms and so on are uncertain by the examples of dreams and so on. To cite the source of the sutra for that, "as it is said" and so on are spoken. It is said that the five types of beings in samsara are similar to dreams. The so-called "there is no establishment in that" means that in the ultimate truth, the characteristics of birth and so on have not been established in them. The so-called "there is no real thing in any dream" means that there is no real thing in any dream. The so-called "those with inverted minds are manifestly attached" means that those who have inverted minds, if they think that these are sentient beings, then they are manifestly attached. The so-called "in other places" means other than the ten directions. The so-called "established only by the name of a city" means that there is nothing else besides the name. The so-called "disturbed by discrimination" means generated by discrimination. The rest is easy to understand. We.
