Yes. What is a sutra of definitive meaning? A sutra that is spoken for the purpose of manifesting the ultimate truth is of definitive meaning. A sutra in which various words and letters are spoken is of provisional meaning. A sutra that is spoken as profound, difficult to see, and difficult to comprehend is of definitive meaning. A sutra in which the sounds and various languages of self, sentient beings, life, nourisher, person, individual, one born of power, child, maker, and feeler are spoken of as if they have an owner when they have no owner is of provisional meaning. A sutra in which emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, non-action, unborn, unarisen, non-thing, non-sentient being, non-life, non-individual, non-owner, and the door of liberation are spoken of is of definitive meaning. Thus it is spoken of extensively. To speak of a portion is to show the difference between sutras of provisional and definitive meaning, therefore it is said to speak of a portion. Moreover, because it is possible to show by way of showing the three natures, the distinctions of the imputed, the dependent, and the thoroughly established are shown, as in "for example," etc. "Arising dependently" means arising in dependence on the difference of the action of the hand and the rope. "Rope coiled" is because it is the appearance of coiling. "It is imputed" because there is no snake in worldly convention. "It is thoroughly established" because a snake actually exists in worldly convention. In order to show the example and apply it to the meaning, "likewise" etc. are spoken. "Made by another's power" means that because it engages by the power of cause and condition, form and mind etc. are dependent. "It is imputed" means that form etc. exist in the ultimate sense, and whatever nature is imputed is the imputed. To show the source from the Root Wisdom of the Middle Way, "nature" etc. are spoken. The meaning of this is that self

The nature of a thing is its essence; whatever the inherent essence of a thing is, that is called its nature. What is the possessor of something? That which is not artificial. That which is not artificial is the possessor, like the warmth of water. Also, whatever is controlled is its possessor, like one's own servant and the king's attendant. Whatever is controlled by others is not its possessor, like an object borrowed for a certain time that one cannot control. Because one does not want to consider what is artificial and dependent on others as nature, therefore the warmth of fire depends on causes and conditions, and because it did not appear before but arises later, it is artificial, so it is unreasonable to think it has nature. Because that is so, from fire, at no time will it be mistaken, inherently existing, not artificial, not previously non-existent, not dependent on causes and conditions, like the warmth of water, and the other shore and this shore, long and short, etc., not dependent on others, that is called nature. So, does fire have such a nature? It is neither with nature nor without nature. Even so, in order to dispel the fear of the listeners, it is conventionally fabricated and said to exist. Just as it is said in the sutras, "For the dharmas without letters," etc., and also in the Root Wisdom of the Middle Way, it is said: "Emptiness cannot be spoken of, non-emptiness cannot be spoken of, neither both nor not both can be spoken of, it is only expressed in name." If it is fabricated and said that it does not exist, what would it be like? Whatever the dharma-nature of dharmas is, that is its nature. Then, what is the dharma-nature of dharmas? It is the essence of dharmas. What is the essence of dharmas? It is self-nature. What is self-nature? It is emptiness. What is emptiness? It is without self-nature. What is without self-nature? It is suchness. What is suchness? It is existing in suchness, unchanging, eternally existing, in all forms, of fire, etc.

That very nature of non-arising has become the power of others, and because it is not artificial, it should be called nature. The meaning of this is that, due to the power of the darkness of ignorance, the collection of objects of focus, for the noble ones who have abandoned the darkness of ignorance, in the manner that they have not seen the self, has become the very best nature, and that nature should be established as their nature. Those natures are not artificial, nor do they depend on others. These teachers have thus established the characteristics, and it should be understood in this way. The nature of things, which is the nature of non-arising, is also the nature of mere non-essence because it is not established as any entity, so because it is merely without essence, it should be said that things do not have nature. Therefore, for forms and so on, if one thinks that forms and so on themselves are nature, that is the completely imputed. In the phrases "being apprehended" and so on, "dependent arising, made" means forms and so on. The phrases "similar to an image" and so on are unreasonable because of statements such as "not arising from self." "Imputation" means imputing as having nature. "In the realm of the Buddhas, it is real" means that things not born from the womb are to be apprehended by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, in a way that they have not seen. "Because it is not completely imputed" means that nature is not completely imputed to artificial things. In order to show that meaning, it is said, "Things are made" and so on. "Ignorance" means that forms and so on do not appear there. "Nature" means the characteristic of emptiness. "Manifest directly" means in a way that is not visible. "That itself" is that very characteristic of non-arising. In order to show the conclusion, it is said, "Therefore" and so on. "Having understood the distinctions" means in the way shown before. "The intention of the sutra should be explained" means that the meaning of the sutras that need to be guided and ultimately guided should be explained. For example:
