It is the all-knowing master, because there is no unprecedented knowledge to be gained on the path of meditation, and it is known in order to abandon those subtle remaining parts. Those nine masters are masters of knowledge on the path of no more learning, because when one obtains the knowledge of exhaustion and non-arising, one knows suffering. Also, because one understands that there is nothing to be known. This is the indication of the nature of the masters. The meaning of the name "master" is that the five, such as the eye, are masters because they have mastery over their respective objects. Because they have mastery over all afflictions, feelings are masters. As it is said in the sutras, attachment arises towards pleasant feelings, anger arises towards painful feelings, and ignorance arises towards feelings that are neither painful nor pleasant. Because the five, such as faith, have mastery over purification, they are masters. Thus, they subdue afflictions and generate the path. Because they have mastery over attaining higher and higher states, the three, such as not knowing what should be known, are masters. Thus, the master of not knowing what should be known has mastery over obtaining the master of knowing what should be known, the master of knowing what should be known has mastery over obtaining the master of having known, and the master of having known has mastery over obtaining nirvana. It should be understood in the Extensive Liberation Sutra. The statement "not found in the three times" is because there is no arising due to "not self," etc. The statement "that is not an eye" is because it has no nature. The statement "not a master" is because it has no meaning of a master. The statement "how should one seek its expression" is the expression of the eye and the master itself. The statement "empty vessel" means the inside of the vessel is empty. The statement "false" is because the inside is empty. The statement "non-existent" is because there is not even the structure of fingers, etc. Why is it non-existent? Because it is said to be "not true," because there is no arising due to the reasoning of "not self," etc. The statement "merely established as a name" is because it is empty of meaning.

The meaning of "emptiness is also not found" is that the emptiness of the pot is also not found. The meaning of "the pot is also not found" is that the arrangement of fingers, etc., is also not found. In order to apply it to the meaning, "thus" etc. are spoken. "Like a pot being empty" means to show it briefly. "False" etc. are shown in detail. Here, the latter should explain the former. "Deceiving children" means that it is a synonym for "deceiving children." "For sentient beings who are in reversal" means being in the reversal of self and what belongs to self. "For the sake of grasping" means for the sake of putting in, that is, for emptiness. Otherwise, if all dharmas are shown to be empty at the beginning, they will be afraid. "It is not ultimately true" means it is easy to understand. Why is it not ultimately true? The answer to this is, "the senses are separate from their own nature" etc. are spoken. "The senses are separate from their own nature, and the senses themselves are empty" is a general refutation. "Among them, the eye" etc. are specifically refuted. This is just a promise, so asking for a reason, so it is said, "Why is that?" In order to show the answer to this, "of the eye" etc. are spoken. Because the nature of the eye is refuted by "not from self-origination" etc. In order to clarify what was previously shown, "the eye sense is not found in the three times," "any dharma for" etc. are spoken. Here too, it should be known that the latter explains the former. "Even in a dream, it does not find them" is because non-origination is established by "not from self-origination" etc. "Dependent origination" etc., the word "etc." includes dhyana, immeasurables, and formlessness etc. "They" refers to the aggregates, elements, sources, etc. Therefore, it is not empty by the emptiness of one lacking the other, but empty by its own nature. In order to show the concluding summary, it is said, "Therefore, the teacher."
